the staff here are super nice and don't try to scam you at every corner like other places. they also responded to my spay cost email super quickly with an itemized breakdown and potential deviations from it. arlo will be getting spayed there in a couple of weeks, thanks team.

Dr. Morgan and his staff are very attentive, patient, and caring with you and your pet. They take the time to listen to you and to work with you to find the best treatment plan for your pet. Dr. Morgan also takes the time to call and update you and answer any questions or concerns you may have. Would definitely recommend Dr. Morgan and the team at Affordable Animal Hospital: Eagle Rock.

If you happen to find a sick, elderly stray animal, DO NOT GO HERE. Sure they do walk-ins but they're gonna charge you oodles more. I asked if I could make an appt and she said no. No?
All I wanted to do was hydrate the cat but that's apparently not worth the effort unless they can charge me 3x as much as a walk-in.
I don't think these people even like animals.

I am only giving a two because I liked the vet tech. I took my cat to the vet to get her nails clipped. Her normal vet is in woodland hills (I live in Eagle Rock), but I didn't want stress her out for a long car ride only to get her nails clipped. I knew I would still have to get a vet to see her since we had never been there before. During this visit, no one took a history or asked me any questions about my 16-year-old cat. Mt cat is admittedly overweight but when the vet came in he almost immediately started to shame me about her size again, having asked me no questions about her history. Starts telling me to change her diet again without any knowledge of what she is already on. Telign me how her life is suffering when I am with her every day, and this cat is happy as hell. He told me she had flee dirt on her and even stated he saw a flee running across her. I believed him because she did just have flees. Even though I thought I had gotten them all I figured it was possible they came back. So after getting shamed and him absolutely just spouting this stuff off at me he leaves the room and they come back with a $600 bill for me to approve. I declined most of it btu still got the flee medication and her nails clipped. With the visits that came out to $125 just for a nail clipping. When I got home and for over a month now I have monitored my cat and she DOES NOT HAVE FLEES. This dude just straight up lied. Terrible experience and I would never take my pet there again. This is why I drive to the Valley still. Good vets are very hard to come by.

Do not reply to phone messages or texts. I have used them before but now will take my doggie elsewhere.

Affordable Animal Hospital took great care of my beloved pet cat. And even on a budget, I can afford their rates!
So not only do I trust them, I will continue to bring my little bestie here for his future care.
(Dr. Cornelius was in charge of our case, and all of the techs and front desk personnel were great too!)

My dog came in with intense hives, facial swelling and redness. Dr. Luba and her technician Nicole took great care of my pet! My pet is now comfortable no hives and no redness! I highly recommend this hospital and Dr. Luba. Thank you to both of them for treating my pet like family!

Great staff and great care Dr Luba and her techs definitely made me feel comfortable and definitely made my pet feel loved as if he was their own. Everyone's experience is different , don't go based off what other people experience.

We took both of our dogs here for their initial visit and they tried to over charge my mother stating "they forgot to charge her an additional $300" for whatever they said (first red flag). My dog recently had surgery and they cut too much skin and her stitches came loose. We took her back and they accused us of her not having her cone on, stating that's why they came loose (even tho we only took it off so she can eat and her face can't reach the back of her leg where the stitches are located)we payed yet again to have them restitch it. Of course because they cut too much skin we literally watched the stitches come out yet AGAIN! we called and their office manager THOMAS was rude and talks over you. We also caught him in several lies and tried to have us pay for a third time for something they did wrong. He sent us to another clinic and stated to be there by 5, we arrived at 4:20. The people at the other clinic stated that they told Thomas the doctor left at 2, but he stated he forgot to tell us. So we wasted gas and time. His lie was so bad we had him on speaker at the other clinic and they told him to his face that he is lying! If you care about your pet go elsewhere

Called them and they refused to take my dog. They told me to bring to other urgent care or back to the hospital. Refused without seeing my dog. Very cruel.
