The worst. I literally hate it so much.Don is great. He hooked me up with the auto-loan and I’m grateful.But man, doing ANYTHING with it since then is impossible. There’s no way to pay it! The app and the website are completely un-user friendly. The only logical way I’ve found to pay it is to drive cash over to the location and deposit it to the CU, then sit down with one of the guys and transfer. It’s so annoying.I’m like, is there ANY other way to pay?? I get shrugs. I started working full time and I have no choice but to wait for someone to call me to tell me I’m late with the payment. THEN I can pay over the phone. So dumb.I’ve been fumbling around the terrible interface trying to get bill pay set up and it’s mindblowing how difficult this is.On top of that, there seems to be such a pretentious overall attitude from everyone I interact with (Not Don, Don was great), but I really really REALLY regret getting my auto-loan through them.

I was excited to get my funds out of “Big Banking,” and unfortunately, AFCU made me regret that decision. Their team didn’t catch fraudulent paperwork from a new employer and cost me thousands of dollars. I was told by cybersecurity specialists that this would not have passed the muster at a larger bank. Typos all over important emails, dodged calls, you name it. I don’t want to call the worker out by name, because I’m sure he’s just trying to pay his rent like all of us, but MAN, was I treated with contempt when I knew my rights and stated them. Big old yikes to AFCU.

Been a member for many years. Low to none minimum requirements, great service & friendly in-person transactions. My only dislike is the $45 fee if you need a replacement card sent overnight rather than wait 7-10 biz days for free.

amazing company. i have purchased two homes through this bank. NO OTHER bank would qualify me but because I have banked with them for over 20 years and they can look back at my whole 3 dimensional financial history, I was able to start building financial stability as an artist. Each time I go in or call they remember me and treat me with such respect. I highly recommend banking with this company

Do yourself a favor, do NOT join this credit union. I'll tell you some of the facts and realities of joining this credit union. This credit union is pathetic to say the least and breach banking regulations without any hesitation. It's time the government authorities investigate into the operations of this credit union. This credit union cannot be trusted. I applied specifically for an unsecured personal loan. Unsecured loans does not require any collateral, that's common sense. After they ran my credit they approved the loan and asked me for collateral for funding the loan. But I never applied for a secured loan in the first place. I don't expect a financial organization to run my credit based on misleading info in the application. I would have to now get that inquiry dropped from my credit reports because that inquiry was made fraudulently. It's time the government authorities take a look into the internal operations of this credit union. 98 percent of the time you would not get them on the phone during regular business hours. Your call will go to voicemail 98 percent of the time even if you call them at sharp 9am ET. So you would have to leave voicemail but they won't ever respond to your voicemail. Even if you email them for a call back, they wont call you back. Make no mistake, 2 percent of the time when you would get someone on the call, you are looking at 1-2 hour hold time minimum if not more. They also have a number for text support. They keep this text fearure pretty simple for the members...You would text them for support and they would never respond to you. If you ever lose your debit card/credit card you would have to report that immediately to the credit union. On paper that extension number is 24 7 available, but the reality is different and scary. Even when you lose your bank card and you dial the extension to report lost cards, there would be no one available to take your call during and or outside business hours. So if you lose your debit or credit card or notice fraudulent activity in your card you have to leave a "voicemail" so they can get back to you at a later time...DO YOU SEE THE RISK BANKING WITH THIS CREDIT UNION? I currently notice a suspicious transaction in my bank account and when I call them, all I am getting is voicemail starting from 9am ET. This credit union's shitty online platform does not allow you to add an external bank account. So if you have two other accounts in some other financial institutions and you would like to transfer money from this credit union to those accounts, all I can say is Good Luck! You can no way do that unless your other financial institution would allow you to pull your money from this credit union. Do NOT join this credit union.

Vicky in Member Services is a Customer Relations ACE, she let her personality and experience shine thru her questions and comments after the obligatory identification process. For making a potentially long wait and stress-inducing Friday end of business day call into a pleasant chat, I say she's earned 10's Across the Board!!!! Including extra points for delivering the boilerplate information with Extra Pro Skill and approaching the whole event radiating Centered CALMNESS thru the phone. Yes, VICKY for the WIN!!!

I experienced fraud activity. On my debit card over the weekend Actors FCU. Called me Sunday afternoon And found 4 charges for a 199 99. Throws my card so they couldn't charge me anymore. On Monday Don in the LA office. Send me the forms for the fraud activity and the form to order a new debit card. Luckily the charges were reversed and put back into my account by Actors FCU. Thank you team I couldn't see banking anywhere else.

I'm severely limited in mobility & cannot make an appointment to travel to AFCU. Vicki Vu provided exceptional service & I was able to immediately complete electron forms. This is truly a wonderful service but I must again commend Vicki for her help.
