The cashier had an attitude w me, it was almost closing, item not priced, once priced, I was charged a $1.00 for tax on an item priced at $1.99. When this was brought to the attention of the cashier, her attitude increased, and I offered to pay the change on the tax, and she could return my dollar to meShe huffed and puffed, and slapped four quarters and a penny in my hand w no thank you. I thanked the cashier as well as thanked the next person in line for the patience. This cashier has been pleasant in the past. I guess my advice would be, do not go toward closing.

This store (Lincoln/Rose) is definitely closing. The shelves are bare of merchandise. Only the produce and refrigerated foods are being restocked. 25% off most merchandise. Last day is rumored to be January 5, 2024 - sad to see this changing of the guard. Gonna miss those opportunities to walk to the "corner store" and converse with the neighbors.

Homeless come to steal. I saw 3 people leave with full back packs of stuff. God Bless them. I'm pretty sure they are struggling enough to steal. They really do have items other 99ct stores don't. Issues aside, worth a visit if you are in the area. Not so special to go out of your way to see the place but if you are already close.

My recommendation don’t buy much because you have to wait half an hour for carry out! people are nice though, but would have taken me 10 minutes of shopping. Basically ended up being 45 minutes waiting for somebody to carry out my groceries.

I often get charged twice for items. You have to watch the cashiers like a hawk. This is the only store I’ve shopped at in LA, including multiple grocery stores, that double scan items on a regular basis. Also, the store parking lot is a gathering point for homeless people and panhandlers. And, they often bring backpacks or wear large jackets in the and shoplift large amounts of items. I’ve seen it happen multiple times. The corporate office should consider shutting this location down, or they should lock up the items that are most likely to be stolen.

Hate coming here now.Seems like I'm the only paying customer. Seeing 60% of the people leaving with full bags of goods, without paying for it, while I pay 4 times for what things used to cost, because people don't pay, is revolting.I'll give 5 stars, if I too can takemgoe without paying... Now paying 4 dollars for napkins that used to cost .99 is a no for me....

I love the selection of fruits and veggies at this store. I can’t stand the homeless people though, but that’s out of their control.

Fairly decent selection and variety of things. Helpful security at the door if you bought too much, ha-ha! Since you can't take the carts into the parking lot area, he will tell you to pull your car up to three doors and then pass you the items from your cart while you load them into your car! I took a star away only because you need to read the e pirating dates on items. They don't remove expired stuff from their shelves so you could accidently buy an expired item!!

this store really sucks and i can't believe that staff don't care that all the homeless people walking around the store shoplifting, opening items eating them, and walking around half naked, can't believe the unsafe conditions customers have to deal with ,i seen security just stand outside the store on their cellphone has homeless people running a muck. can't say the same about the parking lot with people begging and trying to follow customers to their cars, yelling at them, even trying to get into car's this store is beyond unsafe I don't see myself ever going back. if you value your safety, take your business seriously somewhere else.

The worst costumer service I’ve seen.I purchased 2 pieces of kitchen ware on September 22nd asked the cashier if they were returnable.the answer was YES in 9 days if it is not opened. I took the items to the store next day to return unopened,they said only exchange , I said OK give me store credit and they said no store credit , although on the receipt is writing (STORE CREDIT).

Had to take off a star for not providing shopping baskets... only carts that barely fit through the aisles. Inventory is better, but very few items are still .99

I have a mixed review here. I love this store, and over the past year, there have been good changes. However yesterday the so-called manager asked me to leave because I was on the phone while I shopped . I wasn't loud, nor was my long-distance conversation offensive. He was apparently upset because I went around the store twice when I was on the call. I guess the guy in aisle 1 that was shoplifting and eating everything on the shelf he was OK with. I couldn't believe it.... boy, was I mad....
