Nick is the only realtor you should work with. I have known Nick for years and he was our first choice for selling our home. His professionalism is unmatched and his creativity and energy means you will receive service above and beyond. It is too bad Google only gives you 5 stars to rate Nick. 10 would be a closer to reality.

Exceptional, that’s Nick. We appreciate all Nick did for us to sell our house. It did not feel like the long-distance working relationship it was due to his effective communications, planning, follow-throughs, availability, and conscientious work.Nick’s guidance, based on his years of experience, assisted us at every turn. He has a calm and reassuring personality, reducing the typical stress that comes with selling property.He made the process efficient, keeping costs down, enhancing with ROI in mind, tapping into his many resources, being flexible to our needs, and more. He has a good sense of design, yet understands the numbers. He knows how to work with seller and buyer markets, and values client relations.We especially liked that he is a realtor with a contractor’s license. This saved us a minimum of six months’ time, allowing us to sell quickly in a changing market. It enabled him to take charge of renovations efficiently, and we didn’t have to plan logistics, hire and oversee sub-contractors, handle issues, process multiple invoices, etc. Thank you, Nick, and your team!Nick skillfully negotiated the sale (advising us on multiple offers) just after one open house weekend. He also assisted us through a tricky escrow process. The result was a house that showed beautifully, a quick sale above asking, and greatly satisfied first-time customers. We highly recommend Nick!

Nick was incredibly easy to work with to sell my house. He used his contractor's license to renovate and update the house, making it 100% move in ready. The house and yard looked awesome when he was done. The selling price was undoubtedly increased due to his work.

What can I say about Nick French that hasn’t already been said on the earlier reviews? Nick has a very strong understanding and network in the market where I was looking for a home, Los Altos and Los Altos Hills. This helped tremendously as the inventory for homes, especially in my budget, was very low. Despite the challenges Nick helped me find a home that checked all my boxes! What I appreciated about the process was Nick’s guidance and expertise and how I never felt like he would just push just any listing. He would share what he thought and gave me honest feedback and guidance on homes. Now that I have my home Nick has been AMAZING at helping me find the right folks to make the changes I want to the home. It’s hard to find great trades professionals and Nick has shared his network and helped me through the entire process of my remodel. I am so thankful for his expertise and help. He is one of the best real estate agents out there, and has helped us buy two properties (remodel one of them, and rent the other), and sell another. I felt very lucky to get to know Nick and work with Nick to get a dream house that fits the best of our need.Nick has been incredibly knowledgeable, resourceful, professional and organized, hard working, insightful, proactive and responsible, and at the same time very patient and considerate during my entire house hunting journey. I can observe these admirable qualities in different individuals, yet it is truly amazing to see one person who possesses all of these remarkable characteristics. No wonder why Nick is among the very top realtor in the Bay Area.As a local realtor in the Los Altos, Nick has connections around the area and he knows about inventories that might come up in the area which other people might not be aware of, he is fully aware the pros and cons in different sub-areas in Los Altos. As in our life, we always get to make decisions with partial information, but for such big decisions like house hunting, we always want to get as much information as possible to be determined. The information Nick always shares with us when looking at houses together made use feel more confident about making each decisions in this journey, such as placing an offer, offer price, declining/accepting a counter offer etc.On the other hand, Nick’s knowledge is not only within the realtor domain, his knowledge also extends to everything you would have questions about when looking for a house. Nick has a general contractor license, and he has experience renovate/upgrade/build houses. Unless it’s a new construction, we always find parts we don’t like about a house when we visit the houses together, such as low ceilings, old fireplaces, dark houses etc. And Nick has all the knowledge on whether a red flag in the house is fixable and whether it’s costly, which is very helpful when we calculate the offer price, and what’s more, it doesn’t hold us back to place offers on certain listings as we originally might think fixing them could cost a lot of money which was wrong. Now we are getting into the contract, Nick will also help us get the house fixed, and I have full trust on Nick for doing a great job on this, and especially I know it’s gonna be worry-free with Nick.Nick has a ton of non-realtor connections in real estate industry as well, such as loan agent, insurance agent, handy man etc. Whenever I need referral, I always go to Nick. And surprisingly expected, all the referrals from Nick are also reliable, hardworking and professional. Nick is the best, and he also chooses to work with the best ones in the industry.Nick cares a ton about our need, and he tries to find the best house for us that fits our need in both short-term and long-term. He has his methodology to help me understand the trade offs among different options, as well as to understand better what I truly want and my need. That’s why I never got too emotional along the journey, and I can imagine I would easily get very emotional which would drain a lot of my energy without Nick.

Nick is outstanding and professional in everything he does. He helped us negotiate and close on our house in a very competitive market in 2012 and most recently (11 years later!) helped us remodel our house. With his assistance, we improved our house both for our own enjoyment, but with an eye towards the impact of changes on future resale.Nick has incredible attention to detail and is super organized and diligent. With respect to our remodel, he methodically managed and leveraged his vast network of talented tradesmen who completed the work efficiently and with great care/quality.Nick has also always been attentive to any concerns and issues I raise and is super responsive with proactive solutions that he executes to make the whole process incredibly smooth. Nick was recommended to us by our close friends and we are so happy we decided to work with him.We began the search for our second home in summer of 2022, and we thought we knew what we wanted but we didn’t. Nick listened to our requirements, showed us around all the great neighborhoods and ensured we understood the pros and cons of all of them. He then asked us the right questions which helped us clear our mind about our preferences.While we were looking, there was a lot of uncertainty in the market leading to low inventory and the rising interest rates didn’t help either. Nick was patient all through and never tried to push us into something that wasn't appropriate for us. He helped us stay focussed on our preferences and many a times steered us away from bad decisions. He was truly advocating for us!This summer, after a year of search, we finally found a house we loved, in a beautiful neighborhood in Los Altos, which was our ideal location. There was fierce competition on the house but Nick knew how to put together a winning offer. Things didn’t stop here, he got tonnes of improvements done for us prior to moving in, all in a short frame of time. He has a great team for all remodeling needs, thanks to that we were able to have a gorgeous fireplace up and running quickly. I would have never imagined a realtor to provide that kind of over and beyond service after closing, but this is exactly what Nick does. He also helped us rent our previous house and is now managing that property for us.Our experience with Nick has been simply phenomenal and we can’t say enough about him. We are going back to him for anything and everything related to real estate.

Nick did a great job selling my home! I was moving out of the state and looking to move quickly because I had already bought another home. Nick told me to just leave anything I didn't want to take with me at the house, and he would have his team remove the stuff and donate, recycle or trash it, as appropriate. After I was done packing all the stuff I wanted to take with me, I moved out of state and left the house in Nick's hands.The house was in need of significant work to get it ready to sell. Nick remodeled the two bathrooms in the house and did quite a bit of other work that didn't necessarily "need" to be done, but that added quite a bit to boost the value of the home. Nick was able to get the work done quickly and at a reasonable cost, and got the house on the market. The house looked great when Nick was done! Much better than when I left it. We received multiple strong offers for the house after Nick held an open house the first weekend and we agreed to a selling price with a buyer the following week. Nick then guided us through escrow and the sale went through without any significant glitches.I was very happy with the selling price of the home and with the entire process. It seemed like Nick's main goals in selling my house were to get the house on the market quickly, while keeping costs down, get a good selling price, and make the whole process as easy for me as possible. He succeeded on all of his goals. I really appreciate how easy Nick made it for me! Thank you, Nick!

Nick is the first realtor we worked with and we love working with him. He is a very knowledgable professional with years of experiences and expertises specialized in the SF Bay Area real estate market. When we were looking for purchasing our first home, we wanted to work with a professional who would not just cater towards our taste, but also tell us the blunt truth of the property. And Nick did exactly that. Going to open houses with Nick was a great learning opportunity: he gave us the blunt truth of both the good and the bad, sometimes in a quiz format, which made the journey very fun and dynamic. Once finding a property we liked, Nick was a skilled offer negotiator. He helped us negotiating a good price even when we felt like giving up. Afterwards, he helped us through the whole process (i.e. loan, escrow, paperwork, etc.) and made everything happen smoothly. We have been very happy with our first home purchased with Nick. Ever since, we still reach out to him whenever we have property related questions. He always responds timely and gives great advices. Nick sends out quarterly newsletters about his personal insights regarding the market, and it has been a fun read backed with trend and data analysis.
