After the passing of my father and going through the process of his estate, I was not looking forward to the selling of my family home. My sister met Sonia at an open house Sonia Maiello and Meryle Sussman were holding around the corner from my dad's house. We chose Sonia and Meryle for what they brought to the table. Our family home had many deferred maintenance issues that would need to be addressed before selling the property. They have the connections to have our family home repaired, redesigned, and made beautiful for a new family to make wonderful memories. The construction crew completed this arduous task in a very short manor. The selling strategy of Sonia and Meryle is strong as they work well together as a team to get the home sold to the best buyer. Between Sonia's heartfelt desire to help us through this phase of our fathers passing, her contacts with the community (and her extraordinary baking talents!) and Meryle's additional real estate knowledge the process of repairing and selling of our family home was easy.Although we were saddened to have to sell the home we grew up in, we were happy to have found such a great team to help us find the perfect family to sell our home to. We had the pleasure of working with Jaleh as our agent when we were buying our house in the Bay area. She was strongly recommended by a friend and we quickly realized why. Mia is an awesome and a very patient instructor. I often watch and rewatch her videos to understand the legal content. She explains the concepts very professionally, in detail and easy to understand language. Erik Alcantar is great to work with! I did not feel stressed about the process because he is that awesome. He is a great communicator, advocated for me, was not pushy when I was in the search stage, and made sure deadlines were met. From our initial conversation, he asked about my wants, needs, wishes, and timeline. He respected my timeline. Once the offer was accepted with a 25-day escrow, he made sure the 12-day and 15-day contingencies deadlines were met and we closed on time. Victoria is amazing! As a new home buyer, I greatly appreciate that she pretty much held my hand through the entire process. From searching for a home (I had been looking for 2years!), putting in offers, navigating a challenging close, and even afterwards! I have been working with Jaleh Taghipoor since 2015, and she's bought or sold multiple homes for me. I can say with absolute certainty that she's the best agent for both buying and selling.She's the best negotiator in complex deals where there's several moving parts (i.e. getting loan approval, setting contingencies, price negotiations, etc), and she has always managed to get me the best deals both as buyer's or listing agent.If I have given her an ideal house/land that I want to buy, she's not rested till she found that property AND at a deal price. Or else, when she's sold me a listing, she has used her negotiation skills to ALWAYS find me multiple offers. If you work with Jaleh once, you'll never work with another agent again.
