This is a lovingly decorated and unique place in the heart of Los Altos. Rooms and decoration are well maintained and feel authentically chic, and the service is friendly but definitely not exceptional.
For the price, I would have expected a little bit more though:
- Bathroom decoration is rather functional; booking the standard room, you don’t even get a bathtub.
- Included breakfast is very bland with just some cereal choices, average coffee, and a meager choice of croissant, toast, or a third, dry item that I forgot. You can buy several varieties of omelet from 19 bucks per person, which we did. The omelet was great but in the end, we ended up paying 55 bucks for two people for a decent breakfast. We could have gotten a better deal outside.
- There is no dedicated parking; you need to actively ask for a parking permit.
- Wi-Fi service is bad, oftentimes breaking up. I’ve seen better in 1-star hotels.
- Since it’s a boutique hotel, don’t expect any amenities like a gym. Hence, I would not recommend this hotel for anything more than a 2-night stay.
We paid about 275 USD per night which is on the high end for Silicon Valley (on weekends). For that price, I would say that I would have expected more given that there is nothing special about the location; there is neither any landmark nor vista nearby and plenty of other options. Come for a short stay if you like the look!

The place gave me one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had! The staff is so friendly and accommodating! The food is out of this world good! The rooms are so comfortable and cutely decorated! The hotel is located around a fun downtown area with a bunch of shops and restaurants! What more could you need? I can’t wait to come back and stay here again! I am missing the fresh made croissants already!

Such a charming hotel and bistro in downtown Los Altos. The restaurant is open to the public and they have tons of specials as well as live music!!!

This is a small boutique hotel. Does not have swimming pool or big gym. But it has it charm and great staff. Who do their best to make your stay a pleasant experience. I stay here every time when in the area, it almost fill like coming back home. Rooms are not big but nicely furnished, cozy and clean. Location is great , lots of places around to eat and shop. Prices are very affordable comparing to other hotels in the area. Restaurant has some great options to chose from.

Lovely hotel and most charming downtown! The staff were so service oriented and willing to help. We had a great stay and highly recommend if you are in the Bay Area.

Absolutely exceptional service. My husband and I stayed at this hotel while attending a conference. We stay at 5 star or 5 diamond hotels in our travels throughout the world. But by way, our experience at Enchanted Boutique Hotel has surpassed the service at any other hotel. This is because of the hotel's GM, Cristian and his entire staff's heart-felt kindness. The consistency in professionalism, kindness, consideration and thoughtfulness is seen from early morning to late night in every interaction. They are sincere in every effort to make guests feel comfortable and cared for. What a difference sincere kindness and care make. The hotel itself is also beautiful, charming, and very, very clean (take it from a public health expert at the health dept). The food is so delicious and fresh. Unlike any other place. Croissants are from France. We will always return to Enchanted Boutique Hotel. It's now become one of our time-honored staycation locations. Truly exceptional experience.

The room is a bit small, but very clean. The location is excellent, in Downtown, with various international restaurants nearby.
Parking can only be parked for 2 hours during the day, and parking spaces need to be changed. You can stay overnight after 6 p.m.

Very friendly and pleasant hotel at a great location in downtown Los Altos, good breakfast. Very dog friendly.Rooms: Nice rooms, very silent.Safety: Extremely safe neighborhood. The worst that can possibly happen is that an old lady backs in to your car on her way home from the pastry shop.Walkability: Steps from the restaurants, cafes and small stores of Los Altos, a quick drive to all the Peninsula tech campuses.

Horrible experience, my room was right next to the server room, humming all night and vibrating the locked China cabinet in my room keeping me up all night long. Other than that wonderful stay.

Lovely and comfy hotel with thoughtful touches throughout. Everyone was very accommodating when we decided last minute to stay in town and were traveling with two pups.As for other reviews mentioning cell service and wifi, Verizon service is poor throughout most of downtown Los Altos so not a hotel issue, also the hotel wifi does work, you just might have to change your device settings.
