“I came in with a bent frame that the proprietor fixed in a matter of minutes, refusing to charge me for his efforts. Old fashioned professionalism and neighborliness in a shop where the framing is clearly of the highest quality. I’ll be back!”

“I liked this place, just that if you are going to go, have good brakes since there are ups and downs when you arrive.
There is not much shade outside, but very nice to walk for a while!”

“I was here with my daughter for tea and snacks. It was my first time here and hence thought to try it out. We ordered lavender latte for me and another one matcha latte. We ordered an avocado toast sandwich which we split between us as we were not that hungry.
I enjoyed everything and the ambience is also very cool and it was pretty much packed in the afternoon. The service is great and quick. We didn't have to wait for a long time. Overall, it was a great experience and glad that there's one more tea shop to try out among many others.”

“Deepti has been great at setting up a great space for kids to be creative and push their own boundaries at the same time. I have noticed a shift in my little ones drawings from cartoony to be more realistic in a matter of months. My kids enjoy going to her classes. I used to feel that 2 hrs for a class is too much. But my kids say - "Its in fact relaxing". I feel kids are appreciated for their creativity and individuality and at the same time questioned on how they can make their art be more expressive. The art techniques are taught organically and kids learn them without feeling the pressure to learn something new. My kids say - "Ms Deepti always starts with words of appreciation and then gives suggestions". My little one submitted a piece in an art contest recently, which has left us so proud and I think there is a big contribution from Deepti in it.”

“I can't tell you how much I love Laasya. I saw a painting a few years ago in a magazine that I fell in love with. I found Laasya gallery a few months ago. Sonia and her team reached out to the artist and helped us commission a work similar to what I'd seen in the old painting. Sonia did so much work guiding us through the commissioning process, connecting with the artist, making a plan that we were all happy with, and going back and forth throughout to update us and finally having it shipped to California safely. We picked it up in her gallery last week and it is stunning and better than we could have imagined. She was so welcoming to our kids and we got to see so much beautiful art (are tempted to buy another piece!). The collection of contemporary Indian art is so well curated and so unique, it is a real treasure to have this in the USA! If you are considering it, I'd recommend Laasya all the way!”

“Great Art Center in the city of Palo Alto, CA. Came here for a free family event night. A lot of fun activities for kids such as clay sculpting, coloring, origami, and art viewing. There was also a dance performance towards the end. It is located in a nice area near the local library, park, and community garden. They offer various classes for all ages on all forms of art. Wonderful event space and art education.”

“Convenient and reasonable framing company! Came here with two canvas paintings to stretch and some block prints to frame. They did a great job with all of it!They also kindly cut and sold me a small piece of museum glass to a specific size to replace acrylic in a frame I received elsewhere.Brian was happy to help me and asked some questions and gave his advice on what would make sense for the pieces I brought in. The staff is not just some random folks, they all seem professional and knowledgeable. The prices weren't cheap, but also not overly expensive, it was in line with what I'd expect for a custom framing job.Although I don't know if I'd recommend them for any exotic needs (like fine joinery on the frames or something) they might handle other collectibles (like if you wanted help framing a guitar or something). And I wouldn't waste their time on something trivial (like frames for standard photos), though I think they'd kindly give you advice if you came in for that.Overall, I would recommend them and will be coming back!”
