Horrible costumer service. My dear friend and I walked into this lovely looking store on January 29th 2022, she was a young teenage girl and she gave us this god awful stare. She did not even say "Hello" Or "Welcome in". She also did not wear her mask. We are in a pandemic people!! I will never be returning to this horrible clothing store! Goodbye Alys Grace, you wont be missed!

Boring clothes and just a little racist. If you ain't white as snow, enter at your own risk.

Great designer brands. Nicely merchandised. I was visiting and I spent 15 mins strolling thru the store with one other customer. Not friendly and I was not greeted. If I cared to try something on, I would have been insulted by being so ignored. I'd also be an unhappy owner if my employees were that inattentive. The other customer asked about a brands sizing structure and the employee wasn't sure. How can you be unsure at these price points? You should know your merchandise. It felt snobby and unwelcome. I hope it was an off day.

Cute clothes, convenient location. Not great service unless you are already a regular or perhaps fit the description of someone they think might become a regular. That just means I won't become a regular. Had hoped it would replace Syd and its sister location downtown, my prior places to go years ago, but the service here never quite cut it. Have been in to Alys Grace many times both before and after Syd, but service has never been it's strength. So though I'd like to support our downtown, this isn't the right fit for me.

I've got to second all the reviews talking about their customer service because boy.... it's bad. I walked in the store with my mom and there were 3 employees near the register all just chatting with each other (more like 50 year old women gossiping like middle school kids). No "hi" or "how are you doing" when we walked in which I find is just common courtesy especially if we make eye contact. As we're walking around the store, they make no attempt to ask us if we're looking for anything or at all and as we're leaving, they say nothing either. Honestly quite rude and felt like they were judging us because we weren't old white women who looked rich.

I went in with my sister to look at a dress on display. Upon entering,i was told by one if their tall owners/salesperson that their clothes were very expensive.point taken! Then i was told that the dress i was wearing was very affordable, being Sam Edelman. Instead of helping me find clothes,i felt her focus was to inform me the expensive price tags of all the brands ALC,ulla Johnson etc. I couldn't understand as to why instead if trying to understand my needs or the brands that work with me,she was choosing to tell me they are expensive!!it only stopped when i had to retort back and tell her "SO WHAT OF THEY ARE EXPENSIVE!" And then hopefully she got the point that she was being very rude . I still went ahead and finished my purchase, only because i want to support our neighbourhood stores. But i came away disappointed and very upset. I dont think a good inventory can help a store if their customer service is not friendly.there are umpteen shopping options available these days which not only has better service but also better return policy !!!

Friendly sales people, pretty clothes, but I wish I had known there were no returns on sale items and that the owner had some flexibility about this. Found the same item I bought online 2 hours later for much cheaper, and they wouldn't price match or accept a return. I only realized after I got home that the receipt said No returns on sale items. Manager on duty tried to see if I could get a credit for the difference but owner (or someone above) refused. Its too bad that this small, cute mom and pop store isn't more pro-customer in its policies.

Alys Grace is my favorite boutique in Los Altos! They also have a location in Menlo Park as well. Great selection of trendy jeans, dresses, and shirts!

One of my favorite boutiques in Los Altos. Normally I just go there when going for pastries/coffee after a hike or excursion in the area, but always end up buying something (mostly for some girlfriend having a birthday:). They have a great selection of pretty clothes, not crazy style, contemporary but classy. Very Los Altos. Not cheap, not super pricey, but better to always check what do they have on the sales rack. Definitively a stop by when doing your boutiques-tour at this charming small downtown.
