Whenever someone asks me about the most interesting thing I discovered so far I mention the Bamboo Garden at Foothill College. It really is a hidden gem; with over 70 different varieties, it is also the largest bamboo garden in the U.S.!

I graduated from Foothill College in 2013. I love the campus! It's beautiful all seasons. I've been lucky to get all the classes I needed and great teachers and get all the help I need from Admin to graduate.

I like how so many reviewers enjoy the counseling services here. It shows how mentally stable the students are and believe me when you come here you will see just how mentally stable people can be. Lmao

Studying in foothill is one of my greatest choices in my life. Tgt is place is super dope. I like the vibe here cuz it advocates you to involve in sundry of clubs and activities which is low key dope. Have to give credit to Chinese campus fellowship. What a fantastic club and I met a lot of great ppl there es

I came to volunteer for a charity event for special needs kids on the weekend. When I returned I found the campus police had ticketed us. Left a very bad taste and ruined the entire experience:(

I went here because there was a Pokémon Go Community Day in February. A bunch of us parked and went to the campus to play. I looked around and didn't see any parking signs or meters. I previously used to play at History Park in San Jose and always paid at the meter, even though no one checked. When my friends and I got back to our cars, we all got tickets. I tried to appeal my ticket and there's no way to check if they approved your request or denied it online. So then I tried calling their number and eventually it hung up on me after waiting on hold for so long. This campus is stealing money from good people and I'll never come here again.

Not as good as a 4-year college but pretty acceptable as a community college. Went there to save up tuition and plan to transfer. Easy to get involved as an international students. Shout out to ASFC that offers us free food around the campus every week!!! Other hidden benefits: psychological counseling, teeth cleaning and X-ray, food pantry, printing, piano practice rooms--ALL FOR FREE!!!

Not sure why all these haters are rating Foothill College with such a poor grade. Foothill has amazing professors, modern facilities and more resources than most of junior colleges in the Bay Area. I took my first class over 20 years ago and I still remember how different this college was. Last time I was there was two or three years ago and I noticed that the improvement made during the last years has been epic. Foothill College has been entirely revamped, it can fit more students now that when I took my classes. Not to mention that the entire school seems to be 200 years more modern than it was back then. I read the reviews others have left on Yelp, what are you all whining about? Go try other colleges in town and you'll see that they do not even compare to Foothill. If I was 18 again and I had to pick a community college again you can bet I would go straight to this one. I made that decision 20 years ago and I would make it again today.

The campus is quiet nice, plenty of facilities, with a huge swimming pool (maybe Olympic-size), very nice library, clinic, etc. My only complaint is the small gym, it's probably good for at most 10 people at a time, and they charge $95 for 3 months membership. If you go visit, make sure you find visitor parking but they are not free, it's $3 a day otherwise you get a sad parking ticket.

Instructors and staff are very rude, uncooperative, and arrogant. When there are debates in class discussion, they prefer emotional over logical arguments. Grading is unfair, and sometimes the instructors have incorrect information about the subjects they teach. The other junior college I attended, Santa Rosa Junior College, has instructors that are much more humble, modest, and respectful. The teaching quality is also much higher at SRJC than at Foothill College. The teachers at SRJC know what they're talking about, unlike at Foothill College.

American students are good. But international students real suck. A lot of people just stubborn like s**** A Brazilian student called name Daniel has very low social level and humanity. He doesn't even have a car and put shitty words on people. Some female students acted like bitches and ridiculous. Andrew Fraknoi (fugly old man)was the worst Professor. Leonard Paulasa is a very hateful and poor student.Good locals but stupid aliens. Good study place but bad social! I love Southern California! the worst student in the campus

HORRIBLE STUDENT SERVICE!!!! When you call the college, after 1 hour holding, automatic call say "that's 0 call"; that means it's your turn!!! But they don't answer the phone calls at all! After 30 minuets (being on hold for 1 hour) it says "we'll call ya back"!!! And I didn't get any phone call from foothill College!!! That's the Disaster and worst services i ever seen!!!! WITHOUT ANY HELPING, THEY KILL YOUR TIME!!!! When I registered for new term, and before that (last 2 terms) I submitted the form for residency, and also they accepted my residency, again for fall semester they asked me for residency form!!! But they should have my history!!!Anyway I brought all my documents for admission and records! And after 1 week they sent me Email that "YOU ARE NOT ACCEPTED"!!!!! Then what are they doing?!?! How it's possible!?!?! I was resident for last 2 terms ago but when we passed at least 9 months, I'm not resident ? Do they play the game at admission department or just relaxing with tea ???!!?!!! Actually that's a woman that she is working in admission, she TALKED TO ME VERY RUDE!!! And When i said you're in wrong and all of these documents are right documents, she looked again but SHE MADE STOP OF MY PROCESS OF RESIDENCY!!!! Even they're not welcoming any one in admissions building, They MAKE YOU BAD FEELING!!! I'm so sorry for them and SUPER SORRY FOR MYSELF THAT I CHOSED THIS COLLEGE!!!!

My boyfriend and I come here every time their college radio station - KFJC has a Psychotronix event. We always look forward to this event. Anyhow, the layout of the college is spacious. The grounds are nicely landscaped and clean. At times, my boyfriend and I saw dear here at night. There is one major thing I do not like about this college. To be noted I am not sure if it is the case with all classroom/lecture forums, but where the Psychtronix festival is held, the seats are those standard small desks that were popular in the 1970s. If you are a curvy woman or large man, you may find like I have that getting into these seats can be a tight squeeze. When seating for hours on end at this event it can feel uncomfortable to shift around in the seat. Afterwards, I usually come out of the event with a sore bottom. Pros: -great college radio station - KFJC that plays obscure & unique music -from what I heard, they have a great radio courses for students -attractively landscaped campus -very clean and well maintained -unique events throughout the year including the Psychotronix Film Fest Cons: -seats are those small desk seats like the kind in the 1970s, can get very uncomfortable is you are a big person

I've been a student at this school for 2 years now and I absolutely love it! The professors are great and genuinely care about their students' actually learning and understanding the material taught. The staff members are extremely polite and the counselors are very helpful. I highly recommend this community college over any other one.
