Cute scene, beer was very tasty, snacks were mid. However, upon examining my final bill, I saw they charged $3 for a pitcher of tap water for the table... I have nothing more to say.

Our first visit to Casa Dumetz was several years ago, not long after Sonja first opened, and it was apparent from the beginning that this was a special place and a remarkable woman. We have had the pleasure of experiencing her wines grow in depth and complexity every year. The tasting room in Los Alamos is a sweet, comfortable setting for wine tasting, with a terrific outdoor seating area as well. We have always been greeted warmly every time we visit, and our recent visit last Monday to pick up our wine club was no exception. Analise made us comfortable immediately, welcoming us and our two gentle dogs, engaging us in a great conversation about the delicious wines and her own history. We didn’t get to see Sonja this time but will see her at a wine dinner near our home in Santa Ana next week. She is a force for good in the world, and we are so happy to cheer her on!

This wine tasting room offers excellent service and the pop-up dim sama food was awesome. The staff are knowledgeable and attentive, offering helpful suggestions on wines to try. We enjoyed their rose and cider! The crispy fried chicken and pork belly bao buns were highlights. Overall, a great experience for anyone looking for a unique wine tasting experience with great food although I'm unsure of how often they serve food.

I don’t even know where to start… We had an absolute blast! The wines are to die for! So much attention to detail - the interior, the decor, the wines - from the superb taste to the witty labels. The staff was well trained and made our stay as pleasant as we could have wishes for. What a wonderful escape and such a gem.

Excellent local wine bar in Los Alamos, Ca. Love that this place is run and owned by women, and love what they have created! Do yourself a favor and make sure to read the each of the wine descriptions... so fun and whimsical, just like this place. Great spot to kick up your feet and relax with a book on a sunny afternoon.

Go. Like, don't walk, run.Now. Just go. Everything about this winery is perfect. While we were there, they played Bryson Tiller, Alicia Keys, Tory Lanez and I can't even remember what else. My husband and I got separate flights and loved came back for glasses afterward. They close at 7 so get your s*** in gear on time but oh my god just go. Angela (sp?) who used to be a math professor and Alina (also sp?) who is just generally awesome are a great time and know just SO much. Gave us great recs for dinner and more drinking. Go.Go now. Thank me later.

Loved this adorable spot. Two women were working the tasting room when we stopped in for a glass. They let us try at least 4 wines before deciding on an apple rose, a delicious glass and a beautiful space. Wish we'd had more time to spend there.

I should have paid attention to the "10 places to avoid while visiting Los Alamos" article. I went at prime time Sunday early afternoon, right when I expected there would be attentive service that a small business would surely strive for. I checked in at the patio kiosk and was promptly seated. About half of the tables were empty. Then I sat for 15 minutes, not exaggerating, while 3 different staff ladies walked around, never making eye contact and not offering any service. During this time, in between doing nothing, they gathered at the little kiosk and starting writing on their wrists with little felt pens in different colors. Finally staff lady 4 and apparent designated server came to my table and I finally got to sample some wine from the dis-jointed wine list. I particularly enjoyed the 2019 No Service Grenache. This is my second recent visit here. Both times (on a weekend) the legendary owner and top feminist Sonja was "off" and not to be found. Am I going back? Never.

Just visited Casa Dumetz. Loved the food and wine but left with a bad taste in our mouths. We ordered 3 flights of wine ($30 a flight for less than 1 bottle worth of wine.)....the samples were way, way less than generous. Not enough to even get a decent taste of the wines. The food was great, We had the KFC (Koren fried cauliflower) So damn good! and the beef egg rolls. Here's the real downer. We were a party of 4 and were automatically charged for tip when the menu clearly states gratuity added for parties of 6 or more. We purchased 6 bottles of wine. The tip was calculated on not only the food and flights but the purchase of bottles not even opened. So wrong. Been visiting Los Alamos since 2005. It has turned into a cold and heartless town. You can't even find a place that serves charcuterie with wine.. Apparently every place there thinks they share Bell Farms Michelin star. There won't be a next time. Super disappointed. Off to Los Olivos from now on. The photos are a split bill. $50+ automatic tip that shouldn't have been more than $20. Ridiculous.
