This review is for the deli and bakery areas. We had a 90th birthday party for our dad last weekend so we ordered party trays and cakes for the event. The woman at the deli, I'm sorry but I did not catch her name but she had an accent, was so helpful when I was placing the order, and Angela at the bakery was also very thorough in making sure the cakes would look exactly as we wanted. We purchased sandwich trays, multiple salads, fruit/cheese tray, veggie tray, and a condiment tray, and the 3 cakes.
Everything was ready for us as promised, and the food was delicious. There were more people at the party than RSVP'd and still there was plenty of food for the occasion. Thank you so much!

I think I have had it with Vons one bad experience after another.
Seems I bought the 2 for $5.00 berries
Not
I bought organic berries 2 for $9.98
Now why are they mixed together the sign said 2 for $5.00
And honestly I didn't notice until the Store manager pointed it when I called.
Now this is misleading the customer.
And I am done.

I'm really sick and tired of buying fruits from you guys , getting home and having to throw it in the trash. Its gotten so bad. If you know fruits are spoiled just toss them. Don't try to pawn them off as a sale on us knowing that most people won't return fruit cause it's a hassle. I've thrown away over $200 just in the past few months. From spoiled sour watermelons , to persimmons with mold in them , pomegranate with white worms In them , spoiled mangos that are completely black inside , im a celebrity chef!! And I'm tired of wasting money on incompetent produce department. Should I come in and teach the staff the ins and outs of proper produce.

Website lists ice packs but none in store, walked all the aisles three times and couldn't find any. No employees around except a couple at the cash registers that were busy.

The guy at the checkout made all of my group take out IDs for some reason, we are all 23, most of us didn't have our wallets because it is 2033. The guy had an attitude about it and was clearly power tripping. Bruh.

What happened to Vons? Used to be a decent and convenient place to shop. Now we go in and the employees are absolutely bizarre (to put it nicely) Today while in the checkout line the cashier never said hello, hi, hows it going, NOTHING! This is a constant here. Also twice now we’ve come home and noticed our items expiration date is past. We won’t be going anytime soon after today. Bring back workers like Bob (he was the best!) Stop hiring all these introverts who have zero customer service and hate their Job. Management please teach your employees that customer service is a must.

I dont normally shop here but came in for something. As soon as we walked in the employees couldn't stop saying how cute my little girl is and were so nice. They gave her a purple balloon to match her purple shirt and she was soooo happy it made my heart melt! I must have looked lost which I totally was haha so another employee offered to help & I must say I was surprised because grocery store employees don't normally OFFER to help, I usually have to track someone down. So that was nice that someone was available & aware.
