I always thought car brokers were only for the wealthy and high end vehicles. Not so. Mike made buying a new car the easiest and most straight forward process. I will never go to a dealer again. Universal is great! My wife and I have picked up multiple cars from them over the last 15+ years and Mike is always knowledgable, friendly and helpful. Straight forward deals from start to finish and they really make buying a car fun, which is how it's supposed to be! If you're shopping around, give Mike a chance to earn your business. He's a great guy and I'll be hitting him up again as soon as the last car I got from him is ready for an upgrade.

Caveat: I did not buy or lease from these guys, but both my spouse and I spoke with Mike while we were in the process of buying a used and new vehicle. He patiently spoke on the phone with us and explained things. We were seeking a Hyundai Ioniq 5, which is very popular right now and challenging to get. Mike explained that he would get us on waiting lists but could not predict when a car would be available, but warned us of what pricing would be like and how quickly we would have to move on it. Mike doesn't work with every dealership in southern California. When a dealership that he does not work with reached out to me directly with a car offer, he vetted the offer and told me if it was appropriate or not. Because the offer was decent and we found what we wanted, we bought the car through that dealership. Mike made no money off me or my husband. He even suggested waiting to buy given the market when we first met with him. Unfortunately, my old car gave out and I needed to buy NOW. That said, if I had reached out to Mike first, before talking to any dealers, I can guarantee you that I would have bought a car through him. I can guarantee you that I will seek him and only him out in the future. He allows you to never have to interact with a dealer. You just have to have a bit of patience. If you can afford to wait, go with these guys. Your sanity is worth it.

My first experience was over 15 yrs ago, and I was very satisfied. Fast forward to 2022, I felt it was time for a new vehicle. Since I had such a great experience before I contacted the same salesperson. Mike Martinez was beyond awesome. He was very professional and advised me on some options to consider since I wasn't too certain what I wanted. After making a selection, this process was different for me because my selection wasn't readily available. I had to be patient because of manufacturer issues but Mike kept me updated with every detail until I received my desired vehicle. I really appreciate his communication with me and his transparency about brands that offer better rebates then others and overall a good economical choice that would fit my budget. If Mike Martinez is still available in 15++ yrs I will definitely be contacting him to provide the same awesome services that he has provided me over the years with my car purchases.

5 stars is not enough for Michael Martinez! I would give him a 10 if I could. He's been our broker for over 20 years. Most recently he got a 2015 Honda CRV during these crazy car buying/leasing times. We absolutely love the car and we always know that Michael uses his high standards when searching for our vehicles. If you want the best experience call him now. He does not disappoint.

I was referred to Michael at the beginning of January. When I told him what kind of car and the specifics, he had a car for me within a day. When the car arrived, Michael spent time showing me all the features and was very thorough with the paperwork. I would highly recommend Michael!
