THEY ARE AMAAAZING. Everyone is not only friendly, they're very knowledgeable on just about everything you need if not more. I started going to them in 2022 ish, when we just moved to town, and since they were just down the street and I didn't want to go to a big hardware store in another city. I went with an idea of what I needed to do what I wanted, not only did they greet me once I walked in, they asked me what I needed and pointed me in the right direction, even guided me to the aisle & pointed at where the item was. When I was looking, they asked me what it was that I was trying to do, which I told them, and not only did they show me better tools, but even explained how to do it when I got home! I don't work with tools much and have no idea what I'm doing half the time, don't worry I'm never building anything serious, just dumb things around the house.
I've been going back ever since from big needs to small needs, it's always so good to see their smiling faces and my dogs love going to the hardware store because they know they get a treat as soon as they walk in the door.
Sorry for this long post, but they honestly deserve it because they are absolutely amazing.”

“Great paint buying experience! Michelle helped me pick out a few colors that all worked great with my living room. She steered me away from some choices that were too dark/bold for my smaller space, and when I painted swatches on the wall I completely understood her logic. I also really appreciated that she didn’t rush me despite my arriving close to closing. I am so happy with the color and quality of the paint I bought, and I’ll definitely be returning to this specific location for future projects!”

Additionally, the customer service has increased for the better in the past year or so. I have remodeled a few houses and always have ton of questions due to strange paint jobs from previous owners. “I found H&Q colors via Yelp and I'm glad I called them. After messaging them, it took only a few hours before they called me and ask about the issue. Aaron was good at communicating and figuring out what repair was needed. Scheduling was easy and definitely made sure to accommodate us. As for the repair, I would say 10 out 10. Aaron went above and beyond to fixing our ceiling, enough so that it looked like nothing had happen. Also, during the Job, he made sure that our floors would stay clean. My wife and I are very satisfied”
“I needed to have paint color matched for an interior project and get a new color for an exterior project, both at home. The customer service was great! Kyle was very helpful with his recommendations for the types of paint needed for both projects. When the Garden Grove store didn't have the correct type of exterior paint for my patio bricks (velvet), he actually picked it up from another store and delivered it to my house for no extra charge! The interior paints matched perfectly and the exterior paint covered very well in only one coat. I'll definitely be back for my next painting project!”
