Everyone should be going here to get their taxes done. Candy broke down every number and explained the reasoning behind them. Candy made the whole process easy and definitely didn't want to rush me out to the next customer. I'm definitely going to come back next year!

We have been working with Candy & Parker Associates for over ten years and are extremely satisfied. Even though we are two hours away and could send our information to Candy, we prefer to drive and catch up. My family and I have been having our taxes done with Parker and Candy. Unfortunately Parker passed away and Candy took over. She takes the time to listen to our needs and makes the proper changes. She is honest and explains the consequences as to why taxes should be done correctly. I came from another tax preparer who was arrested for fraud and I was audited because of her wrong doings. This office came highly recommended.

This is a long overdue post, but Candy was super unprofessional and also ghosted me as another review mentioned - and I felt it was necessary in case any other struggling business owners are thinking of going here. We explained to her about the unreliability and disorganization we had from another accountant prior to her, and she assured us she'd help us as her clients. I debated on leaving this review for some time because I hate leaving bad reviews on Yelp, but it was pretty terrible how she completely mishandled our filings for our business, which we then had a late penalty fee for, which she said she would pay, and then nothing. I reached back out a couple of times and she said she had Covid and would contact me in a few days, but heard nothing. I then reached out again to see if she was okay, which she was and said she'd reach out AGAIN and never did AGAIN. So we paid the late fee for her never filing our paperwork and that was that.

Candy and her assistant are unreliable, they do not follow up with you when you need them the most. Last year it was the exact same thing and due to Covid I decided to give her another chance. I got a letter from the IRS stating that my taxes were incorrect and when I asked her to review the forms sent to me she ghosted me. Until this day there has been no reply. I HIGHLY do not recommend going with her. It's like talking to a wall.

This was the year we had to make a change in our tax preparer. Scary to choose an unknown for your taxes. I looked on yelp for reviews. I even got several quotes. In the end we chose Parker & Parker. We were warmly welcomed into the office. The nice lady who guided us into the office was happy to see us even though she'd never met us. Candy took care of our taxes in a a few minutes. She was knowledgeable without being stuffy. She made us feel right at home. She also provided good tips for our 2022 tax year too. I would highly recommend Candy and her staff.

I usually take care of my taxes myself, but this being the first time I would be filing since purchasing our first home. I decided I would rather go to a professional to make sure everything was done properly. I came across Parker & Parker during my search for someone local and read through their reviews. I am more than happy that I decided to set up an appointment. Everything I read in the reviews was more than accurate. My appointment was towards the end of the day and not once was I rushed or felt as if they wanted me in & out. Everything was explained throughly and was also provided with some tips on things I could improve on for next year. I will 100% be returning from this point on.

Candy was so helpful, as a first time tax filer i made a huge blunder and made her redo my papers.. she was so nice and caring about my situation. She is very knowledgeable about anything to do with taxes. She has a very caring teacher vibe to her. She has very good advice on how to get the most out of your personal situation. She even gave me a discount although i was trading a lot of stocks and that will take a long time for her to file. Amazing service 100% recommend to have Candy file your taxes. Definitely will be coming back next year.

I needed to do my taxes when I was in the Los Alamitos area and this firm kindly took me in for an appointment the same day. The tax worker Candy provided an amazing service and I received a greater return than anticipated, only because my taxes were done right for the first time. I will never go to a H&R Block again. I have shopped around for the right people to do my taxes and this place is by far the best. Candy was great and easy to work with. She makes sure to look out for your best interest. I wouldn't want to go anywhere else to get my taxes done.

My husband I have been working with Ken for many years, we actually looked forward to our tax appointments yearly because we loved seeing Ken. Ken was more than an accountant to us, he was a dear friend and we loved him dearly. I was so happy last year to find that he was still hanging in there fighting his cancer and having avoided COVID. Unfortunately last month when we received our annual letter with an appointment date and time, there was a letter telling us of Ken's passing, it was so sad to hear. Ken was an amazing accountant and always made you feel like you were the most important person in the world, we had some of the best conversations in our annual appointments. He was a consummate professional and always did his best for us and all his clients. RIP my dear friend. We will continue to use his firm, as they have our full confidence in Candy and all the staff.

I am writing on a sad note I have known Ken Parker for over 25 years. I learned today that he has passed away. He was an amazing man with such integrety. He was always the most professional and business savy with the IRS as anyone you know or have known. He is leaving his business in good hands to his son. I highly recommend them for any tax services. God Bless you Ken and RIP you will be very missed!
