If you want a quote for ink cartridges, don't do it online. Over the years I have requested numerous quotes from this location and received no response. Although, this time they sent me an email ad for a NEW printer five days after my request: but NO QUOTE. So I called the store, thinking, I will give them ONE more chance. I called the location and was unable to get an immediate quote for cartridges for my three-year-old printer. Hector told me he would call me right back with a quote. Come on, your name is CARTRIDGE WORLD, so I think you would have the ability to locate a cartridge for a name brand printer without this much trouble. I've given you plenty of opportunities to earn my business, but it's not worth the extra effort. So I tried OC Toner Pros instead. What a difference a phone call makes. Renee was so helpful and asked all the right questions. Within a few minutes, the order was taken, and it will be at my house tomorrow. By the way, Hector never called, nor do I expect him to call me. Typical for CW. Not the best way to run a business. But try OC Toner Pros and ask for Renee.

I stopped in at cartridge world the other day bringing in my printer. It was right before closing time. A young man, called AJ, help me out with patience and with consideration for all the questions I had about why the printer was not printing. He thoroughly evaluated what could be wrong with my cartridges. He was able to clean them and get them working because there was still sufficient ink in them. That was my reason for bringing in the printer. I thoroughly recommend Cartridge World for your cartridges. Every time I've gone there I've gotten excellent service, but this time especially thanks to AJ.

Saved more than 50% over Staples. Cartridges worked fine on my HP Photo Smart. Bring your empties!!! I'm very pleased. My educator wife, kindergarten, blows through cartridges weekly. Cartridge World is going to save me beaucoup bucks!

Very nice people to do business with. I had a ton of questions and they had all the answers. I would recommend getting your printer ink cartridges refilled at this facility. The black cartridge for my canon is half the price of a brand-new one at Walmart. DON'T forget to pick up your frequent filler card.

Been coming here for years, however the Last 4 ink cartridges I bought had issues. They replaced 1 out of the 4. And feel as if they sucked me out of 70+ bucks. I probably won't be coming back after being a very loyal customer here for years. Back to buying oem cartridges I go. I would highly recommend purchasing ink from the manufacturer to those who do not use their printer on a daily basis as the ink will dry out within 2-3 months. And if you do use your printer on the regular, this place ~could~ save you money.

For a few months, I have been trying to get a replacement toner cartridge for an older HP LaserJet printer I have attached to one of my computers on my home network. Twice I tried going the online ordering route and each time was a disappointment. The first time, I was sent the wrong cartridge. The second time, the cartridge simply would NOT work! After the last time, I decided I needed to go to a brick-and-mortar store that sold these toner cartridges in case something should go wrong. I remembered a Cartridge World store here in Lakewood some years ago. Unfortunately, the Lakewood store closed but the Los Alamitos store was still in business, so I decided to go there to purchase a toner cartridge. Fortunately, they had the exact one I needed in stock. I was able to get a $10.00 discount since I had been e-mailing with the owner, Jack, beforehand and he said the discount would be honored. :-) I received really friendly service at the store. I neglected to get the gentleman's name but he told me he wasn't Jack (Jack was out that particular day). He explained to me the Lakewood store closed because the Lakewood Center management had raised the leasing price for their store space and it would not have been profitable for them to keep operating that location. That's a shame, because the Lakewood store was within walking distance of my home. :-( In any event, the toner works perfectly in my printer and I can take it back for a refill when the time comes. It's very comforting to know there's a physical store I can go to for my printer cartridge needs. The very reasonable prices and friendly service are icing on the cake. :-)

I must be living in a five star world. My HP printer is having minor paper feeding problems. I performed all the maintenance listed, that involves this situation, and that almost fixed the issue. Almost being the operative word. I get a referral for Cartridge World. I was extremely skeptical, as cartridge world wasn't a name I associate with printer problems. Well, HP recommends using only water, but cartridge recommended using rubbing alcohol, which makes a lot more sense. I have yet to use this method, but feel confident that this will help. They also recommended using Hammer Mill 99.99% jam free paper, also identified as Copy Plus. I use 22# paper, however the hammermill product product recommended is 20#. I feel confident that this will solve my issue. I am posting as to help other Yelpers. Updated results. March 9, 2015. Cleaning worked as anticipated.

I have refilled my HP cartridges here about 10 times. Yesterday I took what I thought was my cartridge for my printer but when I got home I realized that this HP cartridge that was not compatible with my printer. Today I went in with my correct cartridge and got a replacement and I mentioned I came in yesterday and got the wrong cartridge (my fault). The guy asked for my receipt and gave me the correct cartridge and did not charge me. I just returned the wrong cartridge and got the one I needed. I thought I would be out $10 but they were very nice about it. Also they have $4 off coupons in the local News Enterprise, which is delivered in the area every week.

You can tell this business is owned by people who care about their customers and try to give them the best customer service. I have always been greeted by the friendliest people and they will try to fix any problem. I HIGHLY recommend using them for all of your printer needs. Very wise and informative as well! Went to get a refill for my printer. Got the same one I usually do but it didn't work for some reason. So I called them up and the manager drove to my business with a new cartridge and fixed it on the spot. He was there within ten minutes. Now that's what I call service!!!

I just came back from this location to check my cartridge which I had replaced from their other location in Lakewood roughly 5 months ago. Jack, (one of the owners) was very attentive and even told me I could bring my printer in to make sure it wasn't a faulty printer. After 5-10 mins of trying a few tests on my printer, he took my original cartridge to the back and brought out a new one. He performed a print test and everything worked perfect. He simply said I was free to go and the new cartridge was covered under their warranty. No hassles, no questions, just straight A+ service. Thank you Jack for your effort and customer service. I will definitely be a long time customer!
