Awesome customer service, I bought 2 sets of snow chains for my big bear trip and ended up not using them. I work near another auto zone in (5471 Lincoln Ave, Cypress, CA 90630) and they refused to received them. It's a chain store, so they can be returned anywhere, awful service there. I went back to this store in Los Alamitos and they took them right away.

I called today for some information, and Spoke to Eric now I could barely hear him, I asked if he could please speak a little louder, and he gave me attitude. Wow, rude. I ended up going to the Cypress store, atleast I was treated nicely.

Better than the movies!I watched a 17 year old boy try to walk out with wiper blades hidden in his coat. Sorry, but you don't "forget" to pay for 20-inch wiper blades.The manager and clerk were very cool about it. They asked him to leave the store and he refused. He kept standing there repeating, "I don't know how to change the blades. I'm only 17 !"The manager kept asking him to leave the store or the police would be called.The kid just stood there demanding they help him install the wipers...Yes, the Los Alamitos PD showed up... He finally drove away.It's one of the dumber things I've seen in my life.

Lets just start off by saying I have been going to this Autozone for 20 years. Recently I went in on a Saturday morning with my son to pick up some oil, pint and some gasket sealer. In checking out, I decided to use the "Self Check Out" I scanned all 4 things I had heard the beep, then got the prompt for employee verification due to the paint. The employee basically stood behind me and helped me input my rewards info. I then continued to check out. While the employee was still behind me. Later that day I went back to buy something else (Often go back multiple times a day). While I was looking at the sealant area, a neighbor came up and said hi, then the store manager comes up and interrupts us and asked to speak with me, "Sure what's up" I say... He then starts telling me that It seems I didn't pay for something earlier when checking out at self check out, says the guy who was helping me watched me steel something, I say ok, lets figure this out, maybe your self check out messed up, he then started shouting at me, telling me that I stole an item because it failed to be scanned and I didn't catch it. Pay for the stuff or I'm calling the cops. I'm like "For sure man 100% lets figure it out and I'll pay for what ever" You're banned for life, you just admitted you stole it, get the F**K out of my store he says... And yes of coarse at that point I was pretty pissed this guy is calling me a thief Seriously, I have never had anything negative to say about this store, but after that crap, the blatant disrespect from the store manager, and the false accusations over a simple mistake, that should have been caught by the employee that was helping in self check out in the first place... This place is terrible, over $12 they insulted me and my character. As if I'd theft anything, let alone while I have my sons to set example for. I should file lawsuit.

I had a malfunction indicator light come on and I went to AutoZone to see if they could get the code of what wasn't working Vincent coolnds helpful, he explained the possibilities of what could be wrong and offered some solutions and gave me a copy of the code.Great customer service.

I had to stop by AUTO ZONE today because by right taillight was out. Let me tell you that EACH time I have stopped in, I have been greeted very professionally with a, "May I help you?" When I walked in today, Pat greeted me and asked what I was looking for? I wasn't sure of the particular light, so he went out to my car to help me decide which to get. It turns out I needed a brake light, too! Such a helpful guy. Pat proceeded to go and get the item and ring it up. I asked if anyone could put it on and he agreed to do it himself. It took no time! He was very respectful of the car and was very professional. Thank you AUTO ZONE for employing great people!

They are very helpful, Jake in particular. I woman friend needed a new battery in her hybrid Prius, Jake looked it up and let her know that her battery was still under warranty, that alone saved her $200. Then he installed it for her! On the Prius it is in the back behind a few things and is a difficult job. And Jake did all this IN THE RAIN !!! I gotta give him the thanks he deserves !!! I hope his boss sees this post.

This is place for solving most auto problems!!However, this employee was the most outstanding ever!!Her name is Kristy. My left headlamp burned out and I told her that I might have to learn to replace it myself by watching YouTube. She said it was very easy to do then proceeded to replace (not one ... but both) headlamps in less than five minutes. I then saw that her hands and sleeves were soiled. I tried to slip a thank you $20 in her palm. She declined the offer and said that she was glad to help. What a treasure of an employee is that? WOW Thank you AutoZone
