Good location right off Katella but beware parking can be kind of a pain in the butt but there is options on the side of the building. Had to come to this place to register a new car and the process was pretty quick and easy if you're going to pay for AAA and you have the membership benefits already why not come here and save yourself a trip to the DMV which can be a nightmare.You Can you check in right at the front get your number and wait for your name to be called, this all went pretty smooth and the whole process took about an hour. That's why the reason for the -1 star.The cool thing about this place is that they have the stickers and all the stuff you need right there so you don't have to wait for them to be mailed, which is pretty convenient friendly staff that are doing their best to keep the line moving, and everybody had a pleasant attitude, which is a bonus. Come check it out if you want to save yourself a trip to the DMV.

AAA membership is worth it just to avoid going to the DMV. In addition, I drive a Land Rover. So tow trucks and me are good friends!

The employees at this branch are the best. I really only go into the branch for basic registration and pink slip problems than can't be handled online through the DMV's website. I have found them to be efficient and professional.

I use the Los Alamitos location because it's close to my job and very convenient. I have visited this location for registration renewals and a passport photo. Each time I'm in the staff there is very courteous and professional. I'm usually in and out pretty quickly.

Don't purchase their roadside service. Their commercials are lies. I had to call AAA roadside service and I have been a member for 42 years. I had a dead battery and the guy they sent out was very unpleasant and did absolutely nothing. He did not check my battery nor did he have a battery to install. This day cost me a fortune having to get a ride to the auto part store and pay the high price for a battery then go home and try to install it myself as a senior citizen. I have not used this service that I have paid for many years and when I finally needed it they did not help me even 1%.

I was in the neighborhood of my old location of Triple AAA when i lived in Los Alimitos and Cypress. I stopped here to renew my registration yesterday and i stood in line for 25 minutes. Nice location and the service is ok. They never have such a huge crowd. I was happy with m service.

I had a good experience here!I wanted to order a custom plate (but the lady told me it would take ~1 year because "because of Covid, everyone died" ??!?!) and then another lady told me it would be closer to 3-6 monthsUnfortunately the custom plate I wanted couldn't be ordered. It had 3 numbers in it (773, the area code for Chicago) & the lady explained something like it would be too close to an existing randomized plate, something like that (having so many numbers). It was kind of confusing bc I feel like I've seen people have a set of 3 numbers before but she asked if I wanted it to have 2 numbers which we tried at first But then I inquired whether they had normal license plates I could just replace mine with (I'm weird I just don't like the combination that I randomly received) & she said she couldn't show me all of the available ones but she could show me the very next one in her batch That way I was able to change my license plate that same day! I wanted to get rid of my current one almost more than I wanted a custom one, so I was satisfied with the one she had available - I know this probably makes no sense but I'm happy with my new plate! It was only $20-25 instead of the $50 for the custom one so even tho I didn't get my Chicago custom plate that I wanted, I'm still happy :) The whole process took 30 mins at most Thanks triple A!

This all started on Friday 11-28-2022 2 :00 PM This is to vent my frustration and disappointing. For a company that provides services to the automotive industry. I'm speaking of AAA from Southern California They are always very reliable in my experience with small vehicles and flat tires, batteries. But I do not get the same experience even though I'm paying a premium for RV towing. let me tell you my story, yesterday, Friday I was taking off to the desert looking forward to Halloween celebrations. I broke down in my RV half a block from my house. I was disappointed that I have taken place so I told my wife OK well just call AAA and we'll take it to our local car mechanic which is 2 miles away from my house. so I followed up with a phone call around 4 o'clock approximately because my mechanic closes the shop at 5 PM. I spoke with the owner at Ray Amotive. off of Artesia and Bellflower. He told me let me give you my personal cell phone number and call me when the tow truck gets there and I will leave my house and open the yard for your RV to go in, I was very thankful and appreciative of this gesture. I continue to wait for AAA to contact me, but they never did. I continue to call follow-ups every two hours until the final call at 9:30pm. I called Ray and told them that it's just way too late for me to get him out of his house and once again, he extended his kindness and told me to call him tomorrow morning, and we will do the same thing. Call him when the tow truck is on his way. well, I received the phone call at five in the morning from AAA asking me if I still needed service I said absolutely and I explain to them that the shop will be open till 12 o'clock. I received a call at five in the morning from AAA asking me if I still needed service I said absolutely. They told me to call at 9 AM so they can put another order in for a service request. When I called they didn't know anything about my call from the previous day. and they needed all my information again including my membership card number this really made me angry agitated, but I kept my cool.Sure I received a call from my service provider and he told me that it would cost $1200 to tow my vehicle to miles but of course AAA will pick up $500 of that fee. I expressed to them that this was not feasible and outrageous. so I told AAA that I will call them back but they continue to have my car. Thank you. sorry I'm almost done with the story. It's just that I'm still upset. so I called Ray again and I explained what was taking place and he told me let me get a hold of a couple of tow companies for you and see what I can do within 15 minutes. Ray got me a tow truck to my house the tow truck, driver was extremely polite and nice hooked up my rig and took it to Ray.Ray told me that this is probably going to cost me about $300. I agreed to it and then he told me don't worry about paying anybody. I will just take it in the shop and I'll get you an invoice when we're done repairing your RV on it. call AAA and cancel the work order and ask for a reimbursement of funds. We'll see what happens. now I feel a little bit better.

What an easy transaction this was!!! Beth helped us out and she was friendly, helpful, and overall fantastic. When we were there there was a small line. They had a few tables outside, so employees would come, and help right on the spot. Very efficient system, some people were a bit confused with the lines, but they are quite obvious, just gotta pay attention.

Safety Taking all the precautions, wait in line outside keeping your distance customer service will be outside directing you were to go and-when to go inside. Of course you need to wear your mask. We were in and out quick style. Highly recommended (I just needed my registration tags)
