A buddy of mine got kicked out for no reason. He was accused of something he didn’t do and 24 hour didn’t even bother to verify the validity of the accusations against him. This is absolutely unprofessional behavior. Don’t go here if you value your reputation.

I live within walking distance to this location and my coworker goes here. After reading all the negative reviews I decided it's not in my best interest to become a member here. My coworker is waiting for his membership to runout because the next auto renew will be double what he's paying now.

This gym is advertising a free week trial for Modus- an “exclusive new group training program… with dedicated coaches” but on the first day I reserved a class, the instructor was a no show and the front desk gave very poor customer service in following up, leaving ppl in limbo as to whether there would be a class or not.
After the free one week, ppl will be charged a fee to attend this Modus class so the offer becomes even more limited for customers when a class is cancelled without notice.
The Cypress 24 gym Manager, Instructor and Front Desk were stunningly apathetic about respecting my time and effort to get to their advertised class, representing the new Modus training in a positive light or motivating me to hang on to any hope about the new Modus training. My time and energy is too valuable to waste on their “free” trial week or ever returning to this gym.
In order to attend Modus, I had rearranged my schedule and drove farther to this gym which is out of the way for me. Despite Modus being posted on the 24-go app for Monday at 8am and printed on the hand outs at the front desk, THE INSTRUCTOR WAS A NO SHOW.
There were no signs posted about class cancellation and no updates on the 24-go app, but the front desk offered POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. When I inquired about the class, the staff dismissed me and told me that I was looking at the schedule for a different gym; then he proceeded to wait on another customer. When I verified that I was looking at the schedule for Cypress, he told me I was looking at the wrong date - and proceeded to wait on other customers. When I told him I was looking at the correct location and date, he finally looked at the schedule and confirmed I was correct but he had not seen Amanda the instructor.
I asked him about the could call Amanda but he said he didn’t have her number. I asked if he could call the manager to contact Amanda bc I wanted to know if I should would wait if she was on the. Way. The staff acquiesced and called the manager to report that Amanda did not show up however he didn’t get any updates for us customers who were in limbo about whether there would be a class. The staff assured me he would call the manager back if he didn’t get an update in 5 minutes. Generously I waited 10 minutes before inquiring again, but the staff said their manager had not called back.
The Cypress 24 gym Manager, instructor and Front Desk are so apathetic about the new Modus training, it is NOT an effective promotion for customers whose time and energy is more valuable than believing their hype about a free trial week.

This location started to go downhill, sadly. When I first came here less than a year ago, it was nicer and cleaner. Now half of the running treadmills are broken, for at least 4 months now. The ladies room , especially the showers , half of them lost theirs doors, some had the soap dispensers fell down on the floor for months etc…

24 Hour has decided to use the pool to give swim lessons to kids at the cost of screwing the adult lap swimmers. Not only have they taken over a lane in an already crowded small three lane pool, they have also increased the pool temperature to 84 degrees to accommodate the lessons. There is no regard for the members that want to use the facility for lap swimming.
There are plenty of places to take your kids for swimming lessons. Why do you have to ruin the facility for the adult lap swimmers? No wonder 24 Hour went bankrupt with poor management decisions like this.

Front desk is trash! Awkward stares and complete silence while checking in, the club attendant greeted me better than the front desk staff.

If I could give zero stars I would. When nearing the end of my year membership, I asked the worker behind the counter if my membership was set for auto-renewal and he informed me that it was not! Shame on me for not checking my bank statements but shame on them for blatantly lying to me about the status of my membership. I was charged for a full year membership and by the time I realized it they informed me it was too late for them to do anything about it. That is downright crooked.

been going here for a while, its a bit overexaggerated about the cleanliness of the place, a lil rust and aint kill nobody just adds to the environment as a whole - an issue is the machines breaking and taking a week or more to fix; a bit annoying. another issue is the terrible wifi, literally cellular data w/ one bar is better than the wifi

This is the most disgusting gym ever. Everything is dusty and grimy and they offer basically nothing for people to wipe the equipment down after they use it and the employees sure aren’t doing that either. AC doesn’t work so it’s just hot and smelly in there all the time. And the bathrooms are literally out of a horror movie. Scummy floors and sinks, bathroom stalls broken and never cleaned before, and I’ve been seeing the same giant clump of hair sitting in the sink for like two months now at least. Can’t imagine how disgusting the showers probably are. This place just seems like a breeding ground for people to get sick. This place needs to be shut down for a deep clean and employees be instructed to actually clean regularly.

This is a very good gym, not too big and not too small. It needs more equipment. It gets busy in the mornings and either wait for the equipment or find something else. The restrooms are clean and the urinals don't smell big plus on that.

I hardly shower, however they need to put timmers on the showers because there are Asian men who sit on chairs and shower for 30 plus min ,it's ridiculous that they have no concept of water waste , something needs to be done and yes it's only Asian men that take up shower time ,sometimes an hour. Put timmers on the shower arms they do it at other gyms. 90 second intervals. Conserve water. Some of them just come to shower because they won't waste water at home .

24 Hour Fitness in Cypress, California is top notch. The desk personnel are friendly, helpful, healthy, and Vigilant. The facility is well maintained; clean and organized. I don't have to wait to use equipment when I go. I especially love the variety of equipment. One can work on any muscle group with ease.Showers are clean and water hot.Nice job management & staff personnel!!Thank you for assisting in my personal health needs as a Silver Sneakers member.
