“Everything a nursery should be. Full of green and color, small paths through well manicured gardens of potted plans and trees. Benches to sit in the cool shade and take it all in.”
“Extensive variety of gardening supplies and plants. Everyone is friendly, and one could spend hours just wandering through the beautiful flowers and trees. There are tons of gift ideas inside, too.”
“Love the knowledgeable staff here. If they don’t know the answer, they will seek another coworker to confirm. I have received so much assistance for them over the years. I’m so glad the took over Eisleys and kept the name versus letting it go so I can stay local here in Auburn. I have a big permaculture farm because of them. Thank you!?”
“I had a plant that I purchased and it said Giant bird of paradise one year ago. A friend told me that it was not so I took it back and they exchanged it for a new healthier giant bird of paradise. The customer service was outstanding. I really appreciate Paul Newman's help dealing with this plant I can't thank you enough. ?”

1052 Melody Ln, Roseville“We have been going to this pond store for over 15 years now, for various products, equipment, fish, etc. Basically for all our pond needs. Recently, we purchased some koi and a few days later all of them plus all our other fish died off. We were in a state of mourning for a couple weeks. We don’t know what happened. The owner, Mark, stepped in and even came out to our house to try to diagnose the issue. We still haven’t been able to figure out what happened but over the course of several weeks, we purchased a bigger stronger pump as well as other recommended chemicals. We’re working together to start anew and get the pond back up to normal, with new fish, etc. Mark has been so accessible to us, which is the definition of going the extra mile. It’s much appreciated. We will continue to patronize this establishment and recommend them to neighbors and family.”

“Came across this beautiful tucked away Nursery over the weekend while visiting where I grew up. We were greeted by one of the three dogs that were there and he was so friendly. We walked around and found a few plants to take home with us to plant in our garden. The gentleman that was there offered us two free day lilies and was very friendly and helpful.”
“We've started using Rock Pros after using a local competitor for years. We've found Rock Pros to have more competitive pricing and better quality materials. The staff is great and so far deliveries have been perfect. Everyone is very knowledgable and friendly.”

10680 Kemper Rd, Auburn“We always get our Christmas trees from here, it's a family owned business, the owners are super friendly and it's a great experience going here every Christmas.”
“Hiro was super down to earth when I dropped by unexpectedly. I wandered around but at the time was only able to buy a small unglazed pot. He didn't mind at all and was happy to let me gaze at his amazing grounds. I am ready for a real bonsai now, and look forward to going back.”
“As my boyfriend and I were out on our anniversary trip we came across a bonsai vendor on the side of the road. We've always wanted one and were quick to pull the trigger on this 20 & 4 years old Juniper bonsai! After some research we started to doubt the health of the 20yr old. We knew we needed a professionals help. Did some more research and boy was I lucky to have came cross Dirty Locus and have contacted Ron. He is one of the few public Bonsai specialist in Sacramento. First off, his garden is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. He has dozens of different kinds of bonsais (indoor/outdoor). He was so kind the moment I called him up, and up to the moment I left his garden. Very eager to help & teach the way of bonsai growing. He was very insightful & thorough with every question I had. I was very skeptical of being able to care for this tree at first until I heard his reassuring words. He helped assess the problems it had, then shortly had me on my way to begin my own bonsai journey. I did pay for a 30min consultation then paid again for the supplies and work he did to re-pot the big one. He offers classes if you'd like to learn more which I thought was so cool. I am very thankful for his help!! If you are interested in starting your own journey this is the best place to start. No doubt about it. Or come take a tour of his garden!”
“These guys are great. Super convenient location, great selection of materials, non nonsense pricing and delivery fees. They gave me a 2 hour delivery window and were at my location on time. Thanks!”
“Been shopping here for a few years, this shop is packed with everything you need for 1st time growers to Big time operations. Quality soils , good nutrient selection, Everything you possibly need plus knowledgeable and friendly staff.”

4095 Duluth Ave, Rocklin“Picked up here, loading good, people friendly, checkin good. You park your truck on street, walk up to Shipping Dept they meet you at door or call phone number provided and someone will come over to Shipping office. They'll give you instructions to loading docks(two concrete docks/ramp, areas in yard to docks are a bit tight due to all the mounds of chip products, after loaded they have a axle scale you can use. The Loader will give you your final bills, At the end of street there's a big turn around circle made for truck/trailer...There is some ovnp on street side.”

861 Galleria Blvd, Roseville“First of all, this is a contractor store so I felt a bit apprehensive going in for the first time as I am just a DIY homeowner trying to fix my drip system. As soon as I walked in , Michael greeted me and made me feel right at home. He personally walked me thru my project and hand picked all the parts I needed himself! Later that day I had to go back for another part and Roberto provided me with the exact same level of service. It's clear that service is a big part of their store culture and they perform the lost art of customer service better than almost any other business I have encountered in the last year. Thanks guys for the great service and sorry Lowes and Home Depot, you lose!”
8:30AM - 4:30PM
5255 Douglas Blvd, Granite Bay“Totally love and like the customer service here, specially from Ruta she went above and beyond to explain in details about plant care, and very informative about everything. Thank you so much!”
“Matias and Travis were there for me as I walked in right before they closed! They did not rush me and they were absolutely helpful and knowledgeable! These guys are the reason I'll be doing my business here!”
“I have been here often. I am always working on a DIY at home. I get great help here. Today it was paint and I have bought appliances here as well. They have beautiful flowers for the garden and a lot of supplies for home projects.”
“Employee helped me find items I was looking for and then gave me some tips on sizing wire nuts. Good customer service today. Normally I find someone not familiar with the department items and cannot point out the required items in electrical to do the job. In the fan department they did not have stock of the display I wanted. They have Hampton Bay but not Hunter ceiling fans.”

5859 Antelope Rd, Sacramento“Always have everything I need and love the pickup! Super fast and easy to use the online pickup vs going to store and finding out what you need isn't in stock”
“We went into the store to make some returns...Milana was so helpful and knowledgeable! Often the employees know nothing about any of the other departments but thanks to her help we didn't have to go all around the store looking for what we needed and she even made some suggestions that helped save us money too. Thanks so much to Milana!”
“So I already left review for this location a few years back but I stand by my 100% review. The people in self checkout are so diligent (sorry thieves) and assisted helping me with items without barcode. A lovely young woman by the name of Kyra left her normal post to assist me load car since loaders were backed up. I have lung cancer and get winded easy and hate asking for help but I didn't have to. She pushed my cart loaded my car and refused to take a cash tip so I feel I at least owe calling her out by name as I totally dumped my troubles on this poor young girl and she listened and actually cared. I can't say enouhh to about this location. I've been to most of the Home Depot's in the area and this one by far is best which is why I drive out of my way to shop exclusively here instead of one by my house”
“This is a decent store. The weekday staff is very helpful. On the weekend though you better know what you need without too much assistance. All of the staff has always been friendly when I'm in the store.”
6AM - 10PM
10001 Fairway Dr, Roseville“Call me Old Fashion…. And I may even answer to that, but Alex will do just fine.
And with that finally squared let me tell you,
I do like this place.
Yeah they miss some quality and get spotty and very generic,
But if you are starting getting stuff done with your hands, this is a great place to start with.
Now,
To all the pros out there,
Don’t you think I have not considered your needs too,
And I can assure this specific location
Is very spotty and generic, and overall corporate driven,
And yet has most of the stuff you need for a quick job.
People are great and why not, you can bring your dog in for a stroll in this heated summers of ours.
When your tool box makes shallow,
At Home Depot you’ll go mellow…
But wait,
There’s more…
If you go now their 6x2 16ft pressure treated ground boards are pretty lame looking…”
“I had such a good experience with valley rock, that I had to write a review. The place that I normally go to didn’t have the material that I need, valley rock had the 1 1/2 inch drain rock, and it was a good price to. I had to do multiple loads, they were very quick. When it comes to buying landscape material, I’m used to dealing with people that just don’t seem to care, or even sometimes rude. The gals at Valley rock were super nice and responsive, thanks so much for an awesome experience.”
