The only issue I have here is that one guy makes sexual innuendos at me when I'm alone. He always flirts with me when he sees I'm in there without my boyfriend and it makes me extremely uncomfortable, so I simply stopped going here period. Him being black and asking me multiple times if I "like dark chocolate" is socially unacceptable and disgusting. Take your sexual harassments elsewhere. I wish there was a day where women could feel safe alone with men, but I guess not.

Be wary of expired food. While convenient, a Google search will lead you to rose park a block away who makes their own pastries. Net net this place excels only in selling you overpriced hard liquor and cigs. But if your fooled by their reviews from Clancy regulars (same owner) then, shame on you.

Please trust the reviews they have low rating for a reason terrible customer service and they NEVER answer the phone. They need to hire new people the people working there are so lazy

Looks like a cool place, but there are no prices on anything. I want to know how much things are before I choose my items.

January of 2023, I quit working here 7 months ago, now I worked my butt to keep that place clean. It's now closed !! Health Department violations! not surprised unfortunately! Maybe they will get me back if they really want me . hmmm.. Passionate about my jobs. this saddens me that they let this place go. the roaches should have been taken care of. ugh!!!

Expired products sold at full price (which is a lot more than full price at most others shops in the area), dusty shelves and products, packaged to-go food items prepared there that are left in the cooler so long that they are soggy and nasty with no offer of a discount (even if you ask), at least one violent angry worker who I witnessed assaulting an obviously mentally impaired and much smaller person who was breaking things outside of the shop (call the police instead of going to jail yourself, bro-you don't even own the shop)... No thanks. I am done with Wabi Sabi Village Market and their sister business, Clancy's bar down the street on Alamitos and Broadway. I can't support this owner's business practices. it's a shame, this shop is so conveniently located to me and some of the people who work their are genuinely nice folks.

Happened just now. Got there at 10:56pm. Walked in the door as the clerk was walking towards the door, apparently to lock it. He said to me, "make it quick because I was about to close." A more appropriate statement would have been "we're closing is in 4 minutes just to let you know." To think this place charges 2.5 times more per item than Vons on the next block and has the audacity to make customers feel that we're inconveniencing them with our business.

Pretty great go to place when you need toilet paper at 9pm and while there decide to also get a bottle of whiskey and bag of chips.

I would rate it a zero star if I could. The dude with the long blonde hair at night shifts is an absolute a****** and he stared at me while I walked out like sizing me up and this isn't the first time. ... he's is very unfriendly I don't know why they have this guy working. So unattractive to customers. And he's always rude and has an attitude. This makes me never ever want to go there again when he's working.

They have a lot of stuff. I'm here at least once a day. I recommend the hard kambucha in the canned drinks section.
