I ordered two beers. Room service. From the bar. I ordered them at 10:10 PM tonight.
I called the main desk about 15 minutes ago and they said that they were on their way. They still haven’t arrived to my room.
I could’ve went down there and got the drinks and come back up and finished them by then.
It is 11:12 PM and I still haven’t gotten the drinks that I paid for. $8 a piece.
I’m not returning here

Expensive for a hotel with a cheap look and feel. Wifi was very weak in the room, needed a fan because the AC was old/weak, the shower head was barely working (lime scale). Bartenders and waiters were nice, but the staff was protesting.
Rooms: Rooms are outdated and although clean, you don’t feel comfortable.

Stayed here for one night before going on a cruise and I have to say it is the best experience we have had with any hotel in many years! Great service, very clean and polite staff. Excellent location for the cruise terminal as well. Beautiful hotel.

Doesn’t adhere to Marriott brand standards or elite benefits. Look elsewhere.

The Westin hotel was world-class, from the room and view to the facilities, breakfast options, and staff. Well done!
Special thanks to Tritzie for giving me a room upgrade during my stay. This made my trip very special, and this hotel has become my go-to place for the next trip.

Buildind feels old in the rooms. Internet is poor. Bar and restaurant are nice

This is the most disappointing Westin that I’ve stayed at. The comforter for the first night had a large brown stain. The water pressure of the shower is weak, and the toilet made the most startlingly loud noise. The only plus is its central location in downtown Long Beach near the main attractions.

Always a great experience with Westin, but at this location specifically I noticed a sign that FREE yoga classes are offered daily at 7:30am! I took the Saturday class with Ram and it was awesome! He asked if I needed focus on any specific areas, which was my lower back. And he went into poses that helped relieve my aches as well strength my back. We ended with breathing exercises and meditation. I ended class feeling stretched and renewed. That morning class is exactly what I needed to start my work day! Westin you did well by providing this perk to your guests and I look forward to trying the other yoga instructors classes as well! Maybe a night class could be offered too? Thanks LongBeach Westin maybe other Westin properties could add this perk?

Nothing at all for gold status Marriott. No breakfast, no welcome, no water, no hospitality suite, no upgrade.

For all intents and purposes, the hotel is gorgeous when you first walk in, however, you quickly realize that joy is short lived The charges for a destination fee every day are not something indicated on the original reservation. The front desk person tried to explain it to me, but when I broke it down to her even she looked like she thought the fee was ridiculous to charge guests. The parking fee was higher than was noted on the reservation. The beds can't be Queen size; they look and feel more like full size. There was no housekeeping on a Saturday, so we had no clean towels and the beds weren't made. The restaurant was overcrowded with a group of drunken people that were there for some type of event. Someone rarely answers the front desk phone. And the carpeting needs to be pulled up and replaced because it is grimy.

This hotel has a long term well known mold problem! If you are allergic and have issues with this, avoid!! They did a great job renovating the lobby, looks sharp and smells ok, but the hallways are freezing (to keep the mold odor down) and the rooms stink of mold. They plan a new HVAC system next year. Not sure how they can book rooms knowing about this? Staff was VERY VERY nice and helpful when I had to relocate. Room service salad was $30, arrived quickly but with a child-sized flimsy plastic fork. I would stay at the Hyatt Centric nearby or the Marriott Courtyard.

pon first entering the hotel, I was immediately struck by the beauty of the lobby. Adding to this positive first impression, Tiffani at the front desk greeted me with such warmth and hospitality. She truly made me feel welcome. Tiffani confirmed my 14-day stay and took the time to ensure that all my needs were met. Every day, she checked in to see if I required anything, always attentive and caring.
The rest of the staff were equally amazing—everyone from the bar staff to the concierge was exceptionally friendly. This hotel is truly a wonderful place to stay, and I will definitely be returning. Tiffani set the tone for an excellent experience, and the rest of the team followed suit.
Rooms: The room was exceptionally clean amd smelled amazing. It was comfortable and the beds were amazing which put me to sleep instantly. A great room for my 14 day stay.
Walkability: Near everything and easy walk to the pier and supermarket was not far from the hotel so you can get items for your room.
Food and drinks: The hotel was near walking distance to great restaurants and not far from other restaurants near The Pike Outlet which made for a nice evening stroll.
