i went to this salon based on reviews and i'm the pickiest person on the planet in regards to my short hair. i worked in salons as a manicurist for 37 yrs, so my salon experience is extensive from both sides of the chair.
my appt was with Sandy & she was absolutely AWESOME! she listened, and gave me a wonderful cut; plus it was the best shampoo/ massage i've ever had! ☺️☺️
the owner Oscar came over to meet me...he was super personable and the salon is gorgeous. spotless, friendly, efficient, professional and at the same time FUN.
i HIGHLY recommend !! !! !!

Amazing vibe. The owner is super knowledgeable with the products they offer. The shampoo chairs are the most comfortable shampoo chairs I've ever laid on. The salon is super cute and clean. They use wella brand hair colors. The front desk lady is very friendly and professional. Also if you have curly hair Laiza is the specialist. She's amazing she did my hair that is wavy and she was able to bring the curls out. Highly recommend this salon.

I would highly recommend this place. No weird attitude. No poking your head accidentally like some salons. The lady who did my hair is very gentle and professional. The salon looks nice wuth big windows

Steve is THE BEST! every time i go in and ask for a specific color or style, he gets it done!!! i've never left disappointed! everyone in there is also very friendly and kind!

I went for the first time to Studio O and booked Sandy and she nailed it! I came in with weird layers and she knew exactly what needed to be done. My hair looks so good for my college graduation photos and I will definitely be coming back. Thank you!!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting The O Studio for a photoshoot where Angie Correa worked her magic on my hair and makeup. From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was in good hands.
I showed Angie some pictures of the look I wanted to replicate, and she absolutely nailed it. Throughout the process, I was amazed at her attention to detail and skillful technique. I couldn't tear my eyes away as she transformed my appearance, making me look better with every brush stroke.
Angie is a truly wonderful makeup artist, and her talent shines through in her work. I left The O Studio feeling like a million bucks, and I'm already planning to rebook with her soon. If you're looking for a makeup artist who can bring your vision to life and then some, Angie is definitely the one to go to.

Studio O Salon in Long Beach is truly a gem! Oscar worked wonders on my hair, giving me the perfect cut and color. The salon itself is stylish and inviting, and the staff are all friendly and professional. I left feeling like a million bucks. Highly recommend!

I travel full time so when I'm in an area for longer than I can get to my standard professionals, I turn to Yelp. That's where I found Steve. I'm so grateful because Steve nailed it! I had read he rocks at blondes and that is ABSOLUTELY true. I was so happy with the initial color I went back for a full head of highllights, and booked two future summer appointments when I will be in the Long Beach area. Not only is his expertise TOPS, but he's a really nice guy. You can't go wrong with Steve!

Shout out to the studio for my worst haircut ever award. I feel bad (slightly) because my stylist was nice enough, and the other stylists as well but my haircut is just awful. I have a mushroom head. I asked for layers and to keep my length. I definitely got layers but poorly done, out dated layers. I've never had a stylist do such a poor job at achieving what I was hoping for. Maybe it's a generational gap in what's layers to her and what's layers to me but I'm just truly upset. My hair is uneven and choppy and I don't even think my styling will fix this. I'm a nail & makeup artist that does my own hair color, I'm not unfamiliar to how hair cutting works. I did tell the stylist I liked it, only because the damage was already done and there was no going back. Younger clients I suggest doing more research on how you are paired up with, and maybe speak up before it's too late mid haircut unlike me. Lastly I've been getting layers for years. I know what they are supposed to look like. I'm not one to leave bad reviews like this for salons but this being the worst haircut Ive ever gotten, I have to.

THEE best salon. I drive all the way from Lake Forest in Orange County because Sandy is incredible. I've tried other salons locally but she can't be beat.
