Great shop and was the only pilot supply store that had in stock the Bose A20 Dual Plug Bluetooth headset! I live in Ventura and when my daughter was coming to fly with me, I needed a headset that day! I jumped on the phone and started calling every pilot shop starting in my area and working my way out further away. Until I found the Pilot Shop in Long Beach! They kept them in stock for the exact same price as Amazon or any other retailer. She held it for me until I got there 2 hours later! Headset was brand new in the sealed factory box. Excellent! Great shop! If it were closer I'd use it for charts and the like but as it is, it will still be my go to store for necessities whenever my local airport store doesn't stock it!!! Thanks for making my first flight with my daughter an epic moment!!!!

Such a great family owned, and experienced pilot shop. Even if they don’t have what you need in the store, they can get it for you no problem! I’ve been a customer for 15 years and will continue to purchase items.

I would caution shopping here due to their inflexible return policy. I purchased a helicopter to GA aviation headset adapter that bent after the first use. The store took no responsibility if their product was a lemon. The owner said it was not normal. Of course it is not normal, why would I return a normal and functional item? Other stores and Amazon have the same products, same price, (if not better), and an actual return policy. Unfortunately, I missed the 5 x 8 paper by the register saying no returns for pretty much everything they sell. The store didn’t even want to do store credit. I am purchasing my GA headset on amazon for more security.

Love this pilot store, has all the necessities and the owner is super friendly. They were out of something I needed so he told me to come back the next day, sure enough it was there when I came back in the morning! Nice to be able to come in and buy in person instead of having to buy everything online.

Fernando and his staff are both friendly and very accommodating. Pilot shops, like this, are actually few and far between now-a-days ... everything is online. But, when you need to "try on" a kneeboard and ask for input before making the right purchase, it's best to go to a shop like The Pilot Shop in Long Beach. I feel lucky that this shop is at my 'home' airport, KLGB.
