Amazing artwork, and so much of it! Every time I thought I saw everything on one wall, there was something else to catch my eye. This is definitely a substantial gallery with well-curated pieces. I'm glad this place exists, we need more outlets like this for us spooky folk.

I don't really like places that do not greet you upon entry,Especially since I was the only customer. Lol The art was ok. Way more expensive than it should be. Maybe train your employees how to have a personality, and basic knowledge of Customer service ?

If you're looking for a unique art gallery, look no further. The Dark Art Emporium is a collection of curiosities and rotating art. Celebrating local artists, you'll find some absolutely stunning works here in addition to unique prints, animal skulls, and taxidermied pieces. If you're in the area this is a must visit place, located inside The 4th Horseman - grab a beer and a slice of pizza before or after you check everything out. Everything is available for purchase as well.

Everything your dark little heart could ever want in a gallery. The opening nights are great and 4th Horseman up front is equally fantastic for food and drinks.

Fun little museum in the back of a bar! The collection is horror themed and features local artists. The art is for sale along with assorted gifts and apparel. Well worth a visit, admission is free. Park on the street.

The coolest, most macabre little place in Long Beach! It’s a little confusing to get into (you have to go through the pizza place), but it’s surprisingly large on the inside. The black walls and moody lighting fit perfectly, and I wanted absolutely everything! Also make sure to check out their podcast, ARTPIT, on their site or on SoundCloud, it’s a delight!

Coming into this art gallery made me feel like I was living in a movie. We've all seen it or some rendition of it ...... the haunted castle ! Filled with scary full length oil paintings with eyes that move. Are those eyes moving or somebody watching you!!!! Behind the painting it's a laboratory with the weird smell of formaldehyde and death . Of course things are brewing along with a bunch of other mysterious thing that bump in the night. Welcome to the dark Art Emporium . The vibe is mad scientist. All that's missing is Frankenstein shackled to the table with electricity pulsing through him ( He's a live ) . Shelves filled with vintage medical utensils, taxidermy and just a lot of random creepy stuff. For some reason at this Point I start to tiptoe with a hunchback spine chilling I tell you ! Turn the corner and be prepared to look around at some amazing ART. At this time there featuring velvet art which I am a huge fan of. One in particular that really called my name was of A bullfighter getting killed by the bull . It's a barbaric sport. My whole life I've been collecting bullfighting themed artwork specially from the 50s .I feel I must go back and get that artwork. I felt the price ranges were very reasonable and Know deep down inside it's Paramount to support the arts.. living my vintage Hollywood horror movie fantasies.

A fun and unexpected experience. If you're into the dark, weird, grotesque stuff- this place is for you. I purchased the above art here, which is obviously a bit different than what I just listed, lol. But it's extremely diverse in its prints and the exhibitions change on a regular basis.

Great little gallery and museum. Lots of bizarre and transgressive art. We bought a cool painting of "Institutionalized Frankenstein." Service is low-key and friendly. Lots of affordable little oddities for sale. Definitely worth a visit, especially while you're waiting for your pizza to cook!

I came to this museum because it's very unique from others in the area. Overall they have some interesting art. I would recommend it to anyone that's into dark art.
