They now do a themed five course dinner once a month. Option to have a wine pairing with each course. One seating per night for 2-3 nights. Must reserve in advance, sells out. We went to the “tomato” dinner. High quality, imaginative dishes with good wine pairings. The chef came out and discussed all five courses in detail and a “wine guy” did the same for each wine pairing, which enhanced the experience. Option to buy bottles of the reasonably priced wines ($20-30 per bottle) after. Lasted about 2.5 hours. Indoor and outdoor seating available.

After we visited the broad, we we're hungry so we came here on Sunday afternoon. We got lucky with finding a parking space right away when I turned into the plaza. Parking is a little intense. I heard there's parking lot behind the building.

Taste seems to be boarded up (stylishly) and opened for very limited hours on Wednesdays from 5p.m. to 9p.m. They are under the same management as Olives from whence our sandwiches were enjoyed. We ate on their multipurpose outside seating area. When we initially inquired re Taste Wine-Beer-Kitchen's status, we were told "we're one and the same". Which is true but we were given a strictly sandwich menu. Many varieties of sandwiches are available and they do a thriving business. I found the Olive "Melt" patty panini disappointing. Pleasant texture but bland, devoid of flavor, no cheddar cheese, scant sautéed onions as listed as ingredients on the menu. I tasted no seasoning. Way too busy to expect any alterations performed on said sandwich. The Cubano, on the other hand was delicious. Perhaps the pickle's starring role made it five star. Prime location for some good doggy watching.

An upscale restaurant with a wide selection of wines and gourmet foods. A modern interior with friendly knowledgeable staff. Food was excellent.

I was invited here by some friends who had wanted to try this Restaurant out on my recent visit to Long Beach. The food was good, however not as spectacular as the reviews suggest. A couple of dishes we tried... Burger - at least it tasted fresh and well seasoned, but it should, its a Burger. Whipped Buratta - very flavorful. Short Ribs - not a huge fan. And a few desserts I don't remember the exact names of but were quite enjoyable. Only 3 stars because the size of the plates and prices felt mismatched and the acoustics were not great, a little noisy and felt rushed. Room for improvement.

A Long Beach gem. Short menu but every item we ordered was good. Good vibes and great service.

Probably the best place in Long Beach at this point. Took a party of 12 here to celebrate my wife's birthday. Quaint little place with good vibes and food that is pretty darn tasty. We pretty much ordered almost everything in the menu from top to bottom. Priced just right and serving size just right. You can easily taste how conscientious they are in selecting only the freshest ingredients. Everything we ate we liked and loved. Great wine selection, great prices.

We usually have a great experience at Taste but tonight's Valentine $100 per person prix fixe dinner with wine pairings was disappointing. Too long, too much talking by the wine makers, and the server wouldn't bring me a new glass for last wine pairing, "finish what's in your glass first."
