It's hard to get good service these days, but Zarian at the customer service desk really went above and beyond for me! He found a wagon I was searching for and even went and got it himself when it seemed that no one else could bring it out. It's employees like him that make this my favorite Target to shop at. Does anyone know what hours the self check outs are available now? After years of programming us to use self check out, they now take it away and force you to wait 20 mins on a Tuesday night at 8pm to buy a stick of deodorant. This is terrible. I'm done with target.

The last few times I've come here were ridiculous. Plenty of staff but self checkout was closed. 2 cashiers, huge lines , and i feel bad saying this but both cashiers were very elderly and checking out very slowly . I again feel bad saying that but if you're going to close self checkout and put 2 cashiers up with huge lines...you should have people who are quicker at checking out. On top of that, the lines got long enough that 2 other cashiers ended up opening and yelled out VERY condescendingly that they were open and "next cashier on 2 PLEASE!" But neither of their lights were on so how are we supposed to know ? What if they're doing other stuff? It was ridiculous the lines were huge and it took me 25 minutes to check out with 2 items. I almost needed to leave it because i was going to be late to work. And staff everywhere..i get they may not have been trained to be cashiers... but maybe they should be? It wasn't just this experience but the last few. Off to Lakewood location i go.

Went here to grab something quickly. Upon checkout there were two checkout counters seemingly open. Neither had a light on to let customers know their status. Given that both had lines of people one might think that they were both open, an assumption that is incorrect. After lining up I was summarily told "I'm closed after this man" (the clerk indicated the person in front of me) I then looked at the other clerk who was also seemingly open and asked "are you also closed after this next person" to which I received no reply. I was then charged inflationary prices for a few items. It all just makes me wonder with these high prices and low levels of service, what am I actually paying for. I do think that the clerks are likely underpaid and I don't blame them personally. Target needs to do better. This includes not lying to the public about retail theft driving prices instead of their greediness.

Would be nice if the starbucks inside this Target actually served all the drinks in the menu! Came today and "no Frappuccinos" hasnt been the first time this happens! Why even have a starbucks if their going to serve what their supposed to!?

Poorly managed store, messy. No self checkout on a busy Friday morning? Long lines, would not recommend this location.

This is a very nice Target. Coming from the East side of Long Beach I have shopped here many times. There are many quality items and the staff is helpful. I haven't had a negative reaction from any employee at checkout. Thank you Target!

Me, my wife and my 3 month old daughter came in today around noon just to pick up some random stuff, nothing crazy. Come to find out they now close half the self check out terminals and have an associate standing behind you watching over your shoulder as you scan your stuff and place it into your bags. I get that theft is at an all time high, but the majority if not but all thefts are people just walking/ running out with stuff. Who’s trying to sneak a bottle of shampoo past the scanner? I will never shop here again. The associate made us all feel extremely uncomfortable. I’m done with my local Target.

I am a lifelong target shopper. These new policies where there are no self checkout lanes open and only three out of 20 cashiers are available is ridiculous. I had two items in every line had 5 to 6 people with baskets full of things I just put them down my stuff and left, they are losing my business

2 p.m. on a monday and why are the self checkout lanes all closed with ten customers waiting at each of the four open registers?! several of us only have one item and the cashiers are working at two speeds: slow and stop! management: extract your cranium from your rectum and reopen the self-checkout lines!

They never have SodaStream refills, and they're too fucking stupid and lazy to answer the phone so there's no way for me to check before driving over.

This use to be a really great Target. Now they have closed the self checkout and don't have adequate help at the checkouts so this morning when I stopped for one item, I had to wait behind three orders. When I asked the cashier why they were not using self checkouts any longer, she said they don't have enough help. ??? They sure don't have enough help at the regular checkouts. If they are going to close the self check out program, then please staff the front end so customers can get out. Walmart seems to be able to do both self checkout and manned checkouts. I like this store, please fix the service!

This store is understaffed. Only two lanes open for checkout and no self-checkout available. I had two items and they wouldn't let me checkout at the pharmacy or electronics. Each lane had over 7 people in line. I love Target, but would not recommend this store.

Does target service is terrible. I've tried calling their phone system multiple times with no success. The customer service line automatically turns off on you. And the rest of the department never picks up the phone.
