Worst customer service I've ever experienced at a grocery store. I actually feel sad for the employees here, because not one of them greets or smiles at customers when they're checking out. I know this is a bargain store and the employees could care less about their jobs, but that shouldn't stop them from having some common courtesy and kindness to customers, especially to the ones that go in every week to buy their groceries like myself. I've had a couple of poor customer service experiences at this store and one of them it was the employees mistake on my payment and she didn't even apologize or care that it was an inconvenience for me. The employees are clearly not trained here and who ever the owner is needs to step up her game with training her people to at least what you could call a basic customer service.

Attention Black People, this business is owned by a Black person supposedly but the Racism is Real! I am No Longer dealing with this store, the employees need training on good customer, you are not served with a smile! Normally only one lane open, and if they do open another lane, they will always pick another Race over You! I'm tired of Not Seeing Any Black Faces at these establishment! Please DONT WASTE UR MONEY if ur a Black Person this is not where we want to spend our Black Dollar!!!

I know! Leaving a review on a grocery store, WILLLDDD but I have a secret I can't gatekeep any longer :0 A little out of the way (like three whole darn gosh hours uugghhhhh) But they have something that no one else has. And trust me I've looked everywhere. You remeber those bags of milk they gave you at elementary school? Well what if a little birdie (me it's me! I'm the little petite birdy) told you there's something BETTER (shhhh let's keep it a dirty little secret between us ;)THEY HAVE BAGS OF MAYO. And I thought the same thing as you. GROSS. But honestly do NOT try it till you knock it. Just punch a boba straw through the bag (yes I keep one on hand, it is a MUSTTT)And slurp away. It's so satisfying and beautiful Toodles!

Grocery Outlet Stores are independently owned . They are a local small business. 7th St. owner is very nice she works all over the store. There is a good variety of products at very low prices. On a recent trip I picked up bellvida cookies 40 pack for $3.50The deals are great but many items are limited quantities and once gone may not be back. Fresh produce and meat are available . Dairy and refrigerated foods as well. The store is not huge, it's closer to Aldi in size than Walmart. Parking is a bit trick at peek houses you may have to go to the further part of the lot. They accept major credit cards, EBT. & cash. They have a small Liquor section and a good sized selection of beer & wines . Frequently at tremendous discounts. Employees at this store have been very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend you give them a try.

I've been missing out on some real bargains. Prices were 40 to 50% lower. I normally shop at Smart And Final or Vons. We got a lot of groceries for the amount of money spent produce was also more affordable. This brand has a cool, old-school family vibe stores are independently operated. This review reflects Long Beach location. Hopefully there will be one in San Pedro someday South Bay. Would love it.

This was my first visit to a Grocery Outlet, just needed to pick up a few items and it was on my way to my final destination. I purchased 5 items and 3 rang up higher than they were priced on the shelves. I expect there to be an occasional mistake, but when more than half of the product prices are either flat or wrong or are deceptively shelved that speaks to a concerted effort to overcharge customers. Staff were super friendly and processed refunds for the incorrect items (did not offer to match the price they were displayed as), but I won't be back.

They have so many items at such low prices! Deodorant anywhere else would be around $7 if not more, I got Axe deodorant for 3.99 betchs! I was also so exhausted in the store and a few employees came to check on my well-being. I don't remember the last time someone asked me if I was okay

A wonderful discount grocery store and chain. Prices are much lower than the legacy grocery stores. The product selection is not as thorough as vons or rslphs but you can get by here just fine. You may have to supplement grocery outlet with a trip to a legacy grocer. I save $25 to $50 'every time I shop here. Their specials are crazy cheap, like a 2lb wheel of brie cheese for under 11!!! Free parking let. Well lit and clean store. Helpful staff seem to enjoy working here. Yeah, the food quality is excellent.
