Wonderful experience! We have brought friends and family at least three times. Every time was excellent. Everyone enjoys the sailing and the captain's personable style. Great treat for visitors and citizens of Long Beach. Sailing within the sea wall makes the trip fun for those who do not like the big ocean waves.

Took a 3hr sail on a Sunday with Capt. Jamie, my sister, brother-in-law, and dad. We booked it as part of my Dad's 80th birthday weekend. We all had a great time. No complaints, all praises. And Capt. Jamie was super cool. Thanks for a great day!

We had our first sailing lesson today with Captain Kevin, and we had the best day sailing from the marina into the ocean and back. Captain Kevin is a kind and friendly sailing expert that is clearly doing what he loves and loves sharing it with others. We sailed the boat for 100% of the time we were on open water and Captain Kevin gave us an organic overview of the basics of sailing. There is nothing like learning from doing it yourself and being instructed by a patient and gentle person who wants to share their passion. Thank you Captain Kevin for igniting a passion in us for sailing - we can't wait to get back on the water again with you!

We celebrated my father in law's 80th birthday with Sunglow Sailing Charters and it was perfect. Captain Jamie was fantastic from communicating with us before the day to being fun and engaging aboard the sail boat. We will definitely be chartering again, we need a chance to try out the BBQ! Thanks so much for helping to create a great family memory.

Went with 5 ladies total to celebrate a relaxing birthday. Loved the boat. Loved the fresh ocean air. Loved that we could bring our own snacks and drinks and a small food out table that allowed us to eat comfortably. Captain Kevin was our guide. He carried many essentials like water, Dramamine (which i needed when I started feeling a bit seasick). Felt safe with his knowledge of the water, the boat and experience as a Coast Guard sailor.Would do it again but the 4 stars because of some inappropriate conversation from the captain about living his job watching women day drink and not unlocking the restrooms afterwards (there was a power outage at shoreline and he allowed us before but not after to use the key). There is a toilet on deck but hard to figure out flushing and a stench that is somewhat unbearable.

I purchased a sunset cruise through Groupon 2 years ago and had the best time, Sunglow offers the best rates in the harbor, I have since purchased multiple cruises directly through Captain Royer, and have gone out several more times with family and friends. Being out on the water is truly a breathtaking experience, and having a having a well trained Captain at the helm puts all worries at ease. You will not regret taking a sunset cruise with Sunglow! I hear they offer sailing classes as well!

I asked Capt Jamie to help me get out of my slip. I am new to sailing. My slip is difficult. I’m so glad I didn’t find anyone else! I just googled. Lucky me, Jamie was born to teach. He is patient, moreover he knows what I didn’t know. How? I don’t know. The things I didn’t know I didn’t know, lol. Capt Jamie teaches in a welcoming way, no anxiety. Well worth every cent! I am so much more capable now, I should get a better rate on my insurance ha! I wish I could explain how good it feels to have someone who is totally able to communicate his skills, and have tangible results! ⛵️
