I have been a Spectrum customer for over 15 years. A new store openbed up on Dinah Shore in (73170 Dinah Shore Dr Suite 101, Palm Desert, CA 92211). I went there for the first time this morning, as I am eligible for an early upgrade. I will never step foot in that store again.I wasted my time, first of all. They didn't have a zFold 5, in black. The very large round gent that waited on me seemed irritated, as if he was ready for a confrontation. You know when an atmosphere is welcoming. After 15 minutes, I just wanted out of there. I'm a black hospital worker. I recognize the attitude I experienced. Sharp answers, and zero pleasantries. It was like a trip to the DMV, or the dentist. I'll never step foot in that place again.I'll try an complete my upgrade at the store on El Cielo in Palm Springs, where I have always been treated nicely. I'll also warn my friends.

This is not about this location, but Spectrum in general. We canceled service, they claim we didn't and proceeded to charge us for it. Even when we took the equipment in and asked, to confirm that the service had been canceled prior, the service rep told us yes it had. We have proof of our new internet start date and they still wouldn't remove the amount due. The agents on the phone are okay, but obviously go off of a script. When I asked to speak to a supervisor I was told "It won't matter they will tell you the same thing." I would NEVER use them again, much less recommend them and we had them a 2 different residence for several years.

If I could give negative stars, I would. From 11/22. not connecting my service for 2 months charging me anyway, and NO RECORD of their technicians' notes that I insisted on after they refused to send one. The service was out 80% of the time.(Too many residents in the area were using it). I contacted them. I had auto pay. They said I owed $435.00 we Hicham I paid. I was told, " That ended the contract. Would I like to renew?" Nope I went to T-mobile for service and Spectrum reported me to collections one month later for "149.95". Unbeknownst to me until it appeared on my credit report. Equinox deleted it. Transition would not. I called the collections and they said it was for equipment not returned. I turned it in on the 4th and Pine address in LB in August. I paid it to get it off my credit report but that was blackmail. NEVER, EVER. EVER USE SPE TRUM THERE SHOULD BE A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AGAINST THEM.

Sylas is a superstar! He recently assisted my father with bill payment at the Pine St location & went above and beyond the standard customer service experience. Thanks to him, my out of state father will now have wifi in his home for the first time EVER! Looking forward to upcoming video chats and memories to be made thanks to his awesome experience ✨

So I had no luck with activation for my mobile phone, I was charged $29.99 for a sims card but never received the email nor any mail thru usps from spectrum and so I have no information needed to activate, and after 2 hours nearly via chat support and 7 representatives not one could help because the representative that sold me the mobile services never did send the required information, so I am without a working phone and am out $29.99 .They only say that they are sorry , Beware of Spectrum for cell service ,

#spectrum This is a nightmare that you must read about. Do not do business with spectrum mobile! I decided to trade in my iPhone for a new Galaxy Z fold. I called spectrum and asked how much trade in allowance I would recieve. The representative ignored me and told me that it is best to keep the iPhone . This was verified when Spectrum personnel listened to the original sales call. I went to the Spectrum store to activate my new phone and was told that I was supposed to get a $ 1,277 rebate. I called customer service who told me that the only way to receive the rebate was to cancel the transaction and send their device back to them. I returned the Galaxy and went to the Spectrum store to get a new phone this time rebate included. They told me that I needed to make a down payment once again. Another $232 ! They told me , "don't worry because within 30 days it'll come back to you because you already paid it." Today I received my new Zfold. . As soon as I signed for it an $852 charge was deducted from my PayPal account. When I asked why they told me that the phone That I sent back was damaged. It was a brand new phone!! No damage '! $464 in down payment money and $852 in non existent damage charges for a total of $1,316 has been deducted from my account ! I am returning the new phone and I am cancelling all service with Spectrum. I am out over $1300 and still no Zfold Please do not do business with spectrum !

The staff was indifferent. It took 3 1/2 hours to get my new phone to work. They asked me to come back the next day. I spoke with the area supervisor who said she wouldn't help me

Spectrum mobile cut off my phone service when I was on my way to Glendale Amtrak to pick up my niece--a child. Apparently they had sent an email to my husband two days ago that our autopay did not go through. It went straight into his spam folder.I was driving when suddenly I could not call, text or get directions to pick up my niece at the train station. This poor child ended up having to wait alone at night in Los Angeles. I called them and asked if they could just give me 30 minutes until I could pick the child up and get home. I offered Apple Pay because I do not carry my credit cards around with me nowadays. They said no. They treated me like a derelict. My husband and I are both professionals and own a home in West Hollywood. I am switching tomorrow. That child could have been hurt or attacked. There was no security at the Glendale Amtrak station and she was alone except for a few homeless people. It was my worst nightmare and I was completely helpless.

Came to this store to sort out a pretty big issue - while we placed an order online for $69, we got a bill and some mystery equipment sent from Spectrum for $122.Upon entering the store, we were welcomed by Sylas Johnson, who tried to basically turn us around at the door by saying "I didn't send the equipment" (as if we came specifically to ask him vs. sort this with Spectrum?.. Customer service is getting more bizarre by the hour...). It probably took 15 minutes of repeatedly trying to explain to him what happened, while he kept trying to cut us off and give basic replies like we were just not understanding how to use a modem and a router. The cherry on top was when he started making faces at us, when we once again tried to ask to see a written breakdown of the type of service and price we'd get (which proved to be impossible fyi). The store manager, Drew, was not much help either. Initially when we asked to speak with him instead, we ended up waiting a solid 10 minutes, as he was "in the bathroom", and when he finally showed up, he came saying "I'm basically leaving here, so I don't need to deal with anything". He didn't ask a single question either, and the only response to us trying to explain our situation was that they don't know anything and we should call customer service. All in all, it felt that we walked into a mom and pop shop, where no one wanted to be associated with Spectrum, and any problem was not *their* problem as long as it wasn't directly made/shipped/created by them.

The store downtown at Pine is all right for service needs. The older Asian gentleman is super cool and helpful. There was another guy that didn't let me return my equipment the other day because it was in my wife's name even though I knew the name and the address and all of the stuff I need to know. So in case if you ever need to return equipment that won't turn faulty like routers/Wi-Fi you can use the My Spectrum app to add yourself as a authorized user so you can actually return things in case if your significant other never has time. It sucks being inconvenienced but at least there's a solution.
