I have mixed type curly hair that I have damaged pretty badly. I've been searching for someone to give me a proper curly cut and give me some styling advice because I finally started wearing it natural this year. I was not disappointed here! Erik talked me through his whole process and gave me a cut that was totally personalized for me. I absolutely recommend Salon Shampu!

My hair was long overdue for a trim when Erik squeezed me in today. I have mid-back length, coarse (4b) textured hair that I flat ironed myself a few days ago. He cut what needed to be cut without leaving me bald... especially important since I am growing my hair out. The price was en par with his skill level, and my hair looks healthy. Overall I am pleased and will return when it's time for another cut. Happy hair. Happy me.

I went to Eric because he was highly recommended. I like my hair short where as it can still be curled and therefore went in for a cut only. I walked out of Salon Shampu thinking okay I maybe able to work with this cut. When I arrived home and really got in front of the mirror I became very dissatisfied and disappointed. MY HAIR CUT HAD ABSOLUTELY NO STYLE TO IT. Especially for the amount I paid ($55.00). I text Eric to let him know it was a cut with no style. His response was "that happens when you get a cut only". Sorry after a "true hair stylist" cuts your hair you can automatically see the style. I ended up going somewhere else to cut a style in my hair. Now I'm happy

Eric is an Artist at Hair styling! He is a perfectionist and very nice down to earth person. I love what he did with my hair. Being from NY I'm used to stylist that know how to cut , style and color, and I haven't found too many people who know how to work it like he does in Cali. I highly recommend him.
