I wish I could give this place more stars but I was very saddened by comments from another staff member. My husband and I came for some services and We brought our child who was calm and she stormed in our section (she was in the back) and said “ my client arranged child care for her to relax and enjoy her facial” and then looked at my baby .
Okay well good for her client but unnecessary comment in my opinion. My child was not crying or screaming for her to come and be hostile with those comments. Usually at salons there’s music or people chatting in the background minding their own business , it’s never quiet idk why she wanted us to shut up, I have gone to the one in second st and it’s always a nice friendly vibe , I’m just so disappointed not sure if I want to visit this location anymore.

I've been all over Long Beach hair salons trying to get a classy bob haircut. My hair kept getting shorter and shorter from trying all these hairstylists to the point that I was crying about it and going insane. I went to Jennifer at Sage Salon for the first time and she did the most Amazing, Detailed, Beautiful haircut ever. I loved how caring and precise she is at what she does. Sometimes it looked like others had done a good job but when I would get home I'll find all kinds of imperfections. That didn't happen with Jennifer. Also, she's super nice and I really liked that she would explain what she was doing, which I think is a big plus! I felt very comfortable with her and definitely will go back to her always and forever? She's truly, truly a lifesaver!!! Definitely BEST thing I could of done for sure✨

I am SO grateful to have found Toni, she is incredibly talented! I came to her with my hair disaster (that's a long story!) & within minutes of being in her chair I knew my hair was in THE most capable hands. She made me feel so at ease & talked with me about what I'd like for my hair. Then the magic started! She is so skilled & technical, I felt like a masterclass artist was working on my hair. I absolutely love the style she created for me, I walked out of the salon with my head held high (I didn't realize how self conscious I was about the condition of my hair before meeting Toni). Her prices are very reasonable; the experience as a whole was priceless for me. Thank you Toni, your talent changed my life & you're the only one I trust to style my hair from now on... see you in 6 weeks!

Definitely best salon I’ve been to in a while. My stylist Jeanette did a great job. Very professional and she knew exactly what I was asking for. Best experience, really recommend. Love the results!! Will be visiting again. Thank you Jeanette ?

I arrived for my appointment today at 10am, as scheduled, and my stylist Jeanette never showed up. After waiting several minutes past 10:00, I decided to leave since the door was locked and the lights were off inside. Not sure if it was a miscommunication between the scheduler and the stylist or if the stylist is just irresponsible. Regardless, very unprofessional and a waste of my time.

To start it off, Jeanette was amazing! She took care of all my needs and listened to what I was mentioning to her. She made sure I was comfortable and relaxed. Very safe and comforting location as well. Jeanette did a fantastic job on my hair, I don't have much trust with hair stylists but Jeanette made me feel very comfortable with her and I would recommend her to everyone who needs a cut. Very good job everyone and this is a very professional place to have your hair done. 100% this is a great spot for getting your hair done. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for their hair done.

Sarah goes above and beyond!!! She has given me two gloss/tone + haircut and always makes it a point to educate me during our time together. She always explains processes to me and is so kind with answering my many questions during the treatments. Her sweet disposition and honesty is such a breath of fresh air!!

I so happy to have found this salon! Tammy was absolutely amazing! She worked wonders on my hair. It was so easy to make an appointment and very accommodating. Definitely will ONLY be letting Tammy work on my hair from now on and will also bring my daughter to her as well. I love how the color came out and she really knew what she was doing. She explained to me the whole process. I'm so happy I found this place and TAMMY!

Hands down, the most amazing salon experience I have ever had!!!! Jeanette was gentle, listened to my concerns, professional + overall phenomenal!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND booking your appointment with JEANETTE ASAP. I was traveling to Long Beach from DC for 2.5 days and needed a lil hair transformation before getting on with my trip and I couldn't be happier with Jeanette's spectacular work! It was better than I could have expected!!! I will 100% be returning to her when I'm in the area again!!!

Omg i had the best best best experience at this salon Jeanette slayed my hair with no experience with the type of extensions I had in! She literally stayed late and cared for me and my hair! A sweet young lady I've gone to other stylist that have complained abt doing my hair but she took the opportunity to learn and give me an a1 hair treatment!!! can't wait to book with her again :)

Big shoutout to @hairbyflower for working her magic on my hair! Spent a solid 8 hours with her, and let me tell you, it was worth every minute. Went from long and black to (check out pic).
Flower's not just insanely talented, she's also the sweetest soul you'll ever meet. She listened, she cared, and she made sure my hair turned out exactly how I wanted it. Perfection achieved!

Sage was super easy to make an appointment with online. They followed up after with specific instructions and who would be my stylist and confirmed the time/location. My stylist today was Jeanette, and she nailed it. Showed her a picture of what I was looking for, while knowing my hair texture was quite different. She took that as inspiration and whipped up a great cut. All around, nice experience.
