Closely placed close enough to public bus. Light rail within walking distance.

Strong smoke smell, even in non-smoke rooms. Dirty bed sheets and towels. Shower soaps are tiny, and you only get two both for showers and to use as hand soap. The workers in reception are very rude and have a hard time understanding English. I do not recommend it.

I cannot thank you enough. We had an extremely stressful day... 12 hour drive from Southern Oregon to handle a family emergency.. then we got the run around from 2 other motels.. we were tired, we were hungry and we were beyond stressed at that point. I found the Ruby Motel online, excellent reviews, the rooms looked nice, great location and the price was in our budget. We pulled up and for the first time on this trip were smiling. This pictures don't do it justice. We were promptly checked in by the sweetest woman. She went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. We were worried about our vehicle getting broken into, she assured us it would be safe and put us in a room that had a direct line of sight of the car to ease our minds even more. The room was very clean, bed was so comfortable and the location is EXCELLENT. We booked the room 5 minutes before we arrived, last minute booking cost us $102 and they required a $20 cash deposit that would be returned at check out. We only had $23 in CASH on us.. she immediately tried hand it back to us.. She was going to wave the required cash deposit for us because she was worried that was all the money we had left. We told her we had money on our cards for dinner and not to worry. We cannot thank you enough for being the light on an otherwise dark day. This place was awesome, the people that run the Ruby Motel are some of the nices people I have ever met. Thank you for going out of your way to make us comfortable and thank you for turning a terrible day into a wonderful night.Rooms: Super clean and comfortableNearby activities: So many things to do close bySafety: Very safeWalkability: Nice part of the city, everything you need is in walking distanceFood & drinks: So many excellent restaurants in walking distanceNoteworthy details: The people running it are some of the nicest people I've ever met

I really enjoyed my stay here , the motel was really clean , they clean the rooms on a regular basis . It feels like home. The manager at the desk was really professional and friendly and assisted me throughout my stay ! Would definitely recommend it :)

They Had No Parking For Us Inside The Hotel's Lot, They Said We Had To Park Out In The Street, They Asked Us For A $50 Deposit, Cash Only, I Gave The Lady $60 Cause I Didn't Have The Exact 50 And She Said She'll Hold The $60

Needed a late night room for my aunts - the desk was open at 3am, but she treated us suspiciously. That's fine, it was a weird hour. When i asked the aunties how was their room, these sweet Christian ladies only said "it was a rod over our heads, nothing more nothing less."

I actually enjoyed this hotel. Was hesitant at first but the room I got was different (meaning the layout) and it was exactly what I needed. Noisy on the weekends but what do you expect. Owner/Manager very nice. Thank you.Rooms: I loved the layout of the room I stayed in. Excellent!Walkability: Bus stop right there or another line down the street.

The manger is very crazy she needs to see a counselor and a therapist man the t.v. don’t work the cleaning lady cleans whenever she wants and makes you stand outside while she act like she cleaning your room the water takes forever to get hot they charge people different prices for the rooms and charge certain people for deposit and large different amounts we actually had a conversation about her walking into my room after I told her don’t enter and she did anyway then as the conversation continues she stated in her voice I will kill you I was very shocked and I still haven’t received any receipt I been asking for since I checked in .UGH PLZ SUMBODY HELP

I happened upon unexpected stay in Long Beach. The room was nice, not cookie cutter but nice decor, price was great! The manager was very nice. Took great pride in the safety and well-being of the property and anyone on it. Traveling solo this was greatly appreciated. Slept well!!

Simply horrible. Dirty fridge, fruit flies everywhere, some other bugs on the floor and ceiling, burn holes on the blanket, smells like an ashtray and not very friendly staff and all of that for 113$ a night! I would never spent more than 40$ for that room!

Had to bring my sister some food, the rubys an ok place. Some rooms are very nice, an some are dirty & scary. (bedbugs, cockroaches, or window can't close, or people are noises at 1am . But that's only when I visit, I've NEVER stayed there don't think I would, only if I absolutely had too. Sorri to say just being honest..

The management went out of her way to accommodate us even when we checked out an hour and a half late!!! Every time I have stayed here the rooms are clean and I have no problems it’s refreshing!! Normally I would not pay more then $75 for a room but as usual it was a $101 well spent! Thank you once again!!-Desiree
