Beautiful location on the canal. Staff were super friendly and hotel was very clean(though strong disinfectant smell in lobby). Pool & jacuzzi available. Had a kitchenette unit which was very nice, with a King size bed. Nice, large walk-in shower. Continental breakfast was decent. Clean & felt safe at all times, inside & out. No restaurant or pub on site, but available at hotel Maya, down the road.

Great location, wonderful staff and lovely views from the room. There’s a walkway that leads to some nice restaurants too.

Nice hotel, staff were friendly and courteous. It's about a mile walk into downtown but not bad along the path. Room was large and comfortable. There is a $50 charge if you want to check in before 4pm, which is a little outrageous for a marriott.

Do not stay here. The location is fine and nice if you are boarding a cruise soon. However, the staff are extremely unprofessional and made our stay absolutely awful. I will never stay here again despite needing hotels in the Long Beach area relatively frequently.

Room was a good size and service was great! Friendly staff! Parking was overpriced but overall great stay.

Great hotel, nice pool. The only issue I had was that the in room amenities seemed a little bare. The shower has 2 shampoos and one conditioner. One makeup remover wipe. It just seemed really bare compared to other Marriott properties.
Nearby activities: Aquarium of the Pacific, Downtown Long Beach

Stayed here night before leaving on Cruise in San Pedro terminal. Staff very friendly, smiling, a pleasure. I stay at many Marriott properties, up and down offering level. For a Residence Inn, this was one if not the best Residence Inn I have ever stayed at. Why? Fresh, clean. All staff team members were friendly, acknowledged me, and were attentive to their tasks. Our room on 10th floor was outstanding!. I recommend this property.

Downtown Long Beach is truly stunning! I hadn’t visited in over twenty years. I stayed at the Residence Inn Long Beach Downtown, located across the bay by the Queen Mary. My room was nice with a full kitchen, a king-size bed, a small kitchen table, a desk, a couch, and a chair. While on my trip, I treated myself to some of my favorite spots like Outback, Yard House, and Cold Stone Creamery, all within walking distance of my hotel. I would've given this hotel a five-star rating, but toys were found underneath my bed and on the side of my nightstand, plus the cost of parking per night is outrageous at $38.00 per night.

The hotel is very nice and has great prices amongst the other choices in the area. The rooms are spacious, free breakfast buffet. The pool is decent size, which has a great view. It is walking distance to downtown or other sight seeing activities or jet skis.
The only issue was internet service on our phone didn't work in the rooms. We have Verizon and AT&T, which both did not get service inside the rooms.
Otherwise very pleased with the rooms and service.
