Came to Long Beach for a wedding. I arrived at 8am from the airport hoping to check in early but the hotel sold out the night before. The ladies at the front desk were very sweet and held my luggage for me. I enjoyed their complimentary breakfast while I waited. They have made to order Belgian waffles if you're into that but I had an apple and some coffee. Then I waited in their lounge and the couch was so comfortable I fell asleep for a minute (sorry ?). Check out its at 11am but they knew I was waiting and got me checked in as soon as a room was clean and available at 10:30am! The room was spacious with a fold out couch. Definitely could've slept 4 people. Luggage rack, hangers, iron and full sized ironing board, blow dryer, mini fridge, coffee maker, microwave, handicap rail in shower/tub combo. I can't believe its a two star hotel! Only little things I noticed are the remote controller power on button doesn't work so I had to get up to turn the TV on and off. The windows don't open. Not sure if that's intentional or it was stuck. Some fresh air would be nice, but a fair trade off for safety as a solo female traveler. The screen to the window was slightly bent outwards on the outside. Again. Little things. I checked out at 11am and am writing this review while laying next to the pool. I didn't get into the pool or hot tub but they look clean and it's a nice spot to enjoy my coffee before heading out for the day. Grettel at the front desk seems to be new and in training and she did a great job! Highly recommend this place!Rooms: Clean and spacious. Floor length mirrors. Microwave. Full sized ironing board. Great deal! Didn't feel like a 2 star hotel at all!

Stay away from this hotel! We made a reservation and they did not provide even a reservation number, but charged our credit card with "Choice Privilege" membership out of Philippines. The phone number of this hotel-motel for reservations gets rerouted to Philippines. The "owner" Sanjay had no idea what we were even talking about and was EXTREMELY rude! He basically hung-up on us. Absolutely terrible experience and our bank saw the multiple charges coming through and cancelled our card and issued a new one (with a new number on it).STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!

The bed and room were great but there was very little counter space in the bathroom. Shower was a walk in and was fine with plenty of hot water. It is located next door to BigE Pizza which has great food.

Our room was very nice and clean. The free intercontinental breakfast was awesome. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bed had a weird metal box frame that made a gong sound every time we got in and out of it, but I can live with that and would definitely stay here again.Walkability: There were lots of restaurants and stores within walking distance. The walk to the beach is somewhat long, but I like to walk, felt safe, and enjoyed the scenery.

The operation of this hotel is definitely questionable. The room was partially cleaned and maintenance is non existent.Rooms: The room was barely clean.Nearby activities: There is a good pizza place right next door.Safety: The first thing I noticed when I walked in was that there was no battery in the smoke alarm. Then realized it wasn't working at all. Then, I later realized they tapped together a the ac plug. It looked like an electrical fire waiting to happen.Walkability: Though you are in within walking distance of a grocery store and a pizza place. This is not an area that is good for families.Noteworthy details: The shower curtain also didn't stay up in the way they put up the shower rod, so water got everywhere. The toilet handle was also broken as well and didn't make it easy to flush.

Experience was horrible. Blood looking stains on blankets. Room service skipped over three days in a row. Staff was rude when we asked for towels and made us go to the front desk to get them. Indoor pool was why we booked and it's not accessible.Nearby activities: Good convenient location

This was our second time staying here. We spent one not again after the end of our cruise. Had a room on the ground floor with a king bed and to our surprise there was a sofa too. The room was very clean, soft linens and bed. Sanjay was very pleasant as was all the staff.Food & drinks: They serve breakfast from 6:30a-9a. A good variety and it fills you up before heading out for the day.

Room had black out drapes, mini fridge and microwave. Bed was very comfortable with nice pillows and blankets. Staff was exceptional!

The room smelled of humidity and then they ask for deposits when the room is in poor condition. The door squeaked a lot. The air conditioning was in poor condition.

BEWARE! DO NOT STAY HERE! It is cheap, but there are hidden fees and booking is non refundable. The room appeared to be clean, but when I went to dry my hands the towels were covered in hair. Pulled back the bedding and there was hair and dirt on the pillows. Called to the front desk and was told that housekeeping was gone for the day and we would have to check back in the morning. Went to speak to the front desk and were ignored by the hotel staff. They were rude and dismissive. They also tried to tell us we did not book through them so we would need to take our concerns elsewhere. We are in a place with dirty towels and bedding. I am disgusted to say the least. We leave tomorrow for a cruise and had planned to stay here on the return, but I would rather lose the money than stay another night in this disgusting place. We have cancelled the return stay and have submitted a claim. Do not stay here!
