Mr. Kevin Rush,
My name is Christopher Johnson and I recently had a terrible experience at your Pouch Storage in Long Beach. I was at the reception desk when she called you to explain the situation. Unfortunately, she did not give you the full scope and omitted key details.
I went into the facility on Friday and entered into a contract to use one of your units. in doing so I also booked (for the following day), your service of a moving truck being used at no expense, to transport my items to the unit. I was scheduled to arrive at 2:00 p.m. and around 9 am a man called me to confirm, at such time I asked if I could push the time to 3:30 pm and was told, that was not possible.
I was late, arriving at 230pm, and was smugly told that I was too late and if I wanted to reschedule I could. Now moving from anywhere is a process. there are many factors involved, any of which could cause a delay. I then asked if the driver was busy with another job or if there was any way he could leave now. I was then told he was off with another customer. which was a lie because as i was walking in, the truck could be seen parked just within the gate.
I then countered, "if this is a matter of payroll, the 30 min that I was late, can you deduct from the 1.5 hrs of load time? I don't have that much stuff and could easily do it within that time."
At this point, she looked confused. She kept looking out the window and I asked her if there was a problem and she said, "well he's walked away. he's now no longer at the truck." i assumed that she was referring to the truck driver.
At that point, I said, "if you can make this work, let's make it work but if you can't, I've got to pull out of the storage unit because this isn't right."
And that's when she called you. and you said what you said, and boy did she feel good telling me that refund was going to be less one day, (even though i had not set foot into the unit, and had signed the paperwork less than 24hrs), less the $11 insurance, and less the $15 admin fee, oh and the check, (even though i paid by card) would take about two before being sent out of the corporate headquarters in irvine.
It seems like it's more important for you to teach me a lesson on punctuality and lose a customer than to move forward with a common-sense solution.

I just can't believe the phone rep I spoke to was rude and sarcastic. I can tell they outsource their customer service to India because this guy had no communication skills. Went to another storage facility instead.

I highly recommend if you’re looking for a storage place for your belongings goto Long Beach self storage. It’s clean it’s easy it’s cheap it’s fast and reasonable. Daniel service was great.

Daniel, Gilbert, and Wendy were great! Showed us our storage unit before signing to ensure that we’d have plenty of room at a price we were happy with. They grabbed a push cart for my sister and we got to loading. Super fast and easy! Gilbert, Daniel, and Wendy were professional, polite, and great to chat with while we finished up the paperwork. Would definitely recommend!
