I had the worse customer service at the floral department by clerk Jessica she was very unfriendly and when I had questions it seemed to bother her and when I asked if she could put an arrangement together I had. My own vase , she didn't even give eye contact and said. Yes. Plus service. Fee .. I only visited this location because it's close to my job won't be coming back I'll keep going to vons on woodruff and Carson the. Best their florist there are always happy and. Answer all question and give suggestions for additional flowers .. which makes the company money .. they give great service every time , I did take the time to call this store and asked to speak to manager but I was transferred to assistant manager that was not to worry about the customer service provided to me , customer starts from the top management is like Jessica they don't care about the customer experience I give you guys 000 stars I'll tell my coworkers and friends and family not to go to this location

Nice, large store that still carries a lot of the variety that Pavilions did. I have the found the fruits and vegetables to be high quality and fresh. The bakery items are great and the bolillo rolls are especially good. Our checker is always super friendly and that is really what keeps us coming back. There is a small Starbucks on site, as well as clean public restrooms.

It's no longer Pavillions. It's been a regular Vons for a number of months. It's a big Vons. But it's a Vons. it's fine. it's not special. the flower department is bigger. it's pharmacy area is bigger. But it's 100% Vo s.

Loved this location as a Pavillions. Not sure why the need to knock down the quality to a standard Vons. The nice flooring was ripped up and replaced with terribly polished concrete that is inconsistent throughout the store. Certain items are no longer available and the paint choices make the store feel incredibly cheap. The staff is still fantastic and nothing against them, but they also aren’t big fans of the downgrade. Makes driving down the street to Stater Bros or Amazon Fresh a little easier.

There is a female checkout woman here with gray hair who likes to make comments every single time I visit about how my stepdaughter “doesn’t look like me” and then tonight when we went there with her BIRTH MOTHER this same gray haired old checkout lady started to make remarks about how our daughter “looks nothing like either of us”.Listen boomer, divorces happen now. I don’t feel like being harassed about my girlfriend’s ex husband’s ethnicity every time I go across the street to buy bananas.

Vons is the correct brand for this store, and the change should have been made over a decade ago. Anyone who thinks it's a downgrade is delusional as it's the same chain, Albertsons-Vons-Pavilions. Pavilions has a unique list of specifications that this location has never had, and furthermore wouldn't be appropriate (Pavilions today are basically just Albertsons/Vons stores with different ambiance, mega sized liquor departments and a outsourced seafood dept) Longtime Pavilions shoppers familiar with the chain would always find this to appear to be like a "bootleg" store since the Pavilions features and decor were stripped away over a decade ago. During the previous remodel it was downgraded and given a plain, cheap Vons interior layout and decor that lacked the ambiance of a real Pavilions. For some misguided reason there are many reviewers here who believe that the food is different between a Vons, Albertsons, or Pavilions when it all comes on the same exact truck from the same exact warehouse distribution center. They think somehow now the bag of Signature brand salad is somehow made with poorer quality lettuce and dressing because the sign changed? Really? The real difference between a Vons and Pavilions is obvious to anyone who walks into a real Pavilions like Seal Beach. Pavilions is the brand used for stores with massive, oversized liquor departments and wine cellars now - something that this store has never had and wouldn't be appropriate for the family oriented neighborhood. Pavilions also outsources the seafood department with a franchise of Santa Monica Seafood. Past that the meat is the same, produce is exactly the same, prices are the same, everything else is the same. All the changes being described to the assortment and pricing have happened at every other Vons, Albertsons, and Pavilions this year - the customers are just noticing it and making the incorrect assumption that for example the new spice aisle happened because the stores brand is changing. No longer will Pavilions shoppers walk into this store and be disappointed by its misrepresentation of that brand and what it stands for. They should have changed the sign to Vons or Albertsons a decade ago because that is what this store was then and still is today, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. Another area that people don't seem to understand is that the more they use curbside pickup services, the more the store will convert from regular checkout to self checkout. Once again there is a misconception that the stores are slashing labor and costs when the reality is they're moving the labor from cashiers to order pickers. In the time a cashier can ring up two dozen customers they MIGHT be able to pull half of one order for a curbside pickup customer. How else would the stores be able to do this service without hiring lots of extra people to do all this excessive work because customers are too lazy to shop for themselves? Do you really think their unions would allow them to just eliminate the cashiers and replace with self checkouts? Of course not. Plus many of the cashiers that now go around and pick orders are happier with that job because they are less susceptible to repetitive strain injuries from standing in place for eight hours scanning your groceries. The stores that don't have self checkout like Trader Joe's? They also won't shop for you. The cost of curbside pickup is too high and if they left checkout alone they'd have to hire dozens of extra workers for the curbside orders and how do you think they'd pay for that? By raising prices for everyone else! I'm not going to pay higher prices because you decided you wanted someone to push a cart around for you and get everything on your shopping list. Self checkout is your punishment for using these convenience services, and frankly speaking both should go away because the stores are forced to create "first class" customers that get curbside pickup by creating "third class" customers on self chec

The Pharmacy in this Vons have a rudest people working I've ever had to deal with. She was extremely short and could care less of my needs. I switched to this pharmacy hoping to make my life easier while shopping and picking up our monthly prescriptions. Grocery store love, but I no longer will tolerate this poor customer service. They literally can care less. She said do what you want, when I complained. So disappointed!!! I have been a customer for over 3 years and very disappointed.

Barbara is so kind!I was having an issue with the price not reflecting the discount when I was in cell check out and she was so sweet and walked over with me to double check the price and then I download the app for the digital deal but it was not able to download so she went ahead and took the total off because I was having such trouble. I appreciate customer service like this immensely. Thank you so much Barbara!

Pavilions (which is now Vons) has provided the neighborhood with quality groceries, but the best part is their staff! I really appreciate how Vons hires people of all ages and abilities. They don't discriminate in their hiring practices, which makes shopping here even better. I always feel welcomed and the store is always fully stocked. Eric and Derrick are two awesome employees I can joke around with when I go shopping and they are always so kind and polite. Thank you Vons!

Loved the Pavilions. Now less options and way lower quality...especially with the meat. I am disappointed in the change. I think this change was very misguided. People want quality and it has definitely gone down. Lower quality and less options...that's literally what an unnamed employee told me when I asked the difference between pavs and Vons....boy was he right.
