They are definitely crooks. I spent 4,000.00 dollars on what was supposed to be a brand new transmission. I have taken this car back 3 times under the warranty and it still doesn't run right. Transmission codes every time. Find another shop. These people are crooks.

I was referred to them by my mechanic and I admit was skeptical at first, but felt more assured after reading the positive reviews about them. Whenever it comes to transmission issues the outcome is usually very expensive from my experience so I was bracing for the bad news. I took my car in and was immediately greeted by Steve. He then hooked up the diagnostics device and showed me the results. He said that he would first recommend trying the less expensive option first to see if it would fix the problem. It involved replacing the gear switch. The price seemed very reasonable so I agreed. He said that hopefully that would work, but if it didn't then I would be looking at getting a new transmission. He seemed honest, but you can never tell with mechanics so I was hopeful, but cautious. The next day I got a call from them telling me that the transmission issue was fixed! I felt so grateful that they were able to fix it and that they didn't try to take advantage of me. I would wholeheartedly recommend taking your car there. They are honest and will only do the service required at fair prices. I get so tired of the mechanics and dealerships who are constantly overcharging and over recommending when we are in a tight spot.

My car was running SMOOTH and fine other than intermittent transmission issues and a running lean code. I took it to Parks Transmission to get my 2004 bmw 324ci transmission rebuilt. I picked it up 5 days later and drove it off only to feel hard shaking and jerk in reverse and hard shaking in drive. I brought it back to them and said something is wrong. (They should have caught that if they drove the car after repair but apparentley they didn't or failed to mention it to me if they did). They said the transmission they rebuilt was fine but that I also needed new spark plugs, ignition coils and mass air flow sensor because the check engine codes stated that's what I needed. I told them I had no issues with my car before and those check engine codes popped up AFTER their rebuild. It ran smooth and now it runs horrible. I had already paid them $2600 to rebuild my transmission and now they wanted to charge another $1000 to fix it again. This obviously raised an eyebrow. So I got another opinion from bmw auto mechanics. Come to find out it is my TRANSMISSION. The car KICKS and shakes in Drive and Reverse. They said that if the transmission is bad or rebuilt improperly then it would cause the engine to work improperly and cause false positive codes for bad spark, plugs, ignition coils and mass air flow sensor. I am taking my car back to Parks Transmission for a 3rd look to see if they will fix it again and honor their 1yr or 12month transmission rebuild warranty. If they fix my car RIGHT I will EDIT this review to reflect that they honored their warranty and fixed the problem........... UPDATE: BMW mechanic did me a favor and called Steve the Owner of PARKS TRANSMISSION. and told Steve that it was my transmission. Steve said to drop off car again on a Thursday. When I went in Steve was not there and push out our appointment again for a week....I believe Steve is ignoring me. No call backs, nothing to make it right....So far I've been getting phone advice consultations with other shops and they say it could be TORQUE CONVERTER, Trans Fluid levels, Trans vacuum etc.

I had my transmission replaced last year by Park's and noticed recently my power steering fluid was leaking. I called and Eddie was able to squeeze me in the following day. It was a leaky power steering pressure hose and they had it replaced within 48 hours, thankfully, because I had a trip up to the SFV.

Park's Transmissions came to my knowledge through my regular mechanic Spencer, who recommended them to me for head gasket repair on my 2012 Challenger. I had my car towed to Park's, and Eddie and Steve took excellent care of me. Eddie was kind enough to take me to the rental location and assured me I'd have an estimate by end of day, which I did. My car was in the shop for close to 10 business days and Eddie kept me in the loop the entire time. I highly recommend this business for your transmission and auto needs. They were honest and professional and didn't push me to get anything I didn't need.

Erased the check engine off the dash without asking making it difficult to get a second opinion, tried to upsell a rebuilt transmission when all our vehicle really needed was just the censor to be turned off Always get a second opinion and be carful with this place they'll tell you the transmission is finished when it might not be after all

Went for transmission service. I asked to see the old filter they didn't change it. Then only wanted to give me $10.00 off the $270.00 price. Anyways maybe my expectations were high, but I won't go back after that.

My car had been consuming oil too quickly so I was worried that I might have a serious problem with my car. I was relieved when Steve and Eddie explained to me over the phone what really needed to be fixed. I ended up having a few things done and my car seems to be running just fine. Amazing , helpful customer service. I even canceled my original appointment with the dealership to avoid being ripped off. I will be coming back to Park's for all my future repairs. Thank you so much!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. I came to Eddie a couple of months ago with a problem with my car's clutch. I had my car towed there, since the problem was so bad; therefore Eddie knew I wasn't in a position to shop around with other mechanics since I couldn't keep towing it to different places. He told me it would be $2,700 to fix the problem. This was a HUGE amount of money for me, and it was slightly greater than the blue book value of my car. I was upset but decided to have the work done and just get this problem out of the way and to avoid having to buy a new car. I handed over the $2,700 cash when the work was done, and tried to drive home. I didn't even make it to the end of the block before realizing the car had THE SAME EXACT PROBLEM as when I first brought it in. I immediately brought the car back and explained the issue. Eddie called me back and said it would be an extra $550 to buy another part and finish the job! Insane. I told him that was too much money and he should fix the car for the original price, since he obviously hadn't dealt with the problem I told him about. Eddie called me back with another offer of $350, acting like he was doing me a favor. I felt like I had no other options, and I needed a car so I could get to work. I begrudgingly agreed to pay the extra $350-totaling a ludicrous $3,050 for the whole job. I picked the car up again, and it still had problems. It shifted very roughly, and after driving on the freeway a warning stated "transmission overheating--pull over". I brought the car to Eddie a third time and told him exactly what happened. Eddie had the nerve to tell me there was no problem with the car, and said I should take a picture the next time the warning light comes on. He blamed the design of my car's transmission, claiming that the design "just sucks" and the functionality could never be improved. After spending over $3k, my car was still not safely drivable. It shifted badly every time I drove it, and I was afraid to drive anywhere far from home in case the transmission overheated again. The poor shifting and transmission light was not an issue before bringing the car to Eddie. It was all just a huge waste of money. I tried getting my money back by selling the car, but the highest offer I could find was from Carmax--for only $800! Their staff test drove my car and could immediately tell that it had transmission issues. I can't believe how much money I wasted at this place. I am financially devastated. I can't believe Eddie and his staff tried to tell me the car was fixed when really it wasn't. Photos include the initial cost of the repair (Eddie gave me no documentation of the extra $350), as well as the meager offer from Carmax and acknowledgement of transmission issues. I wish I could go back in time and steer clear of Park's Transmissions. Please don't make the same mistakes I did.Edit: I forgot to mention that during this ordeal, Eddie ruined my relationship with my previous mechanic. While my car was at Parks Transmissions, Eddie called me and told me that my previous mechanic lied to me about replacing one of the clutch actuators a few weeks earlier. He sent me photos of the part and explained that it was worn down and not a new part. He told me to call my mechanic and ask what happened. I was very upset and called my mechanic and explained the situation. They were offended at being accused of wrongdoing and even offered me a refund for the work. They stated that they definitely replaced the clutch actuator and would even give me security camera footage of the work being done if I wanted to see it. Eddie called me back and said he made a mistake--the clutch actuator was new, and it just looked worn down because of the design. I was beyond frustrated. Now my relationship with my previous mechanic has been soured just because Eddie didn't know what he was talking about.
