Thanks, Gaby for helping me on my taxes today! She's detailed, patient, kind and reviews step by step on what is going on with your taxes! I was reluctant, only because I've been going to a regular family/friend for so many years, but I finally decided to see someone else in the LBC. I'm so bad at these types of things, but she answered all my questions! I'm definitely coming back next year :D

Mike Steverson handled my multi-year, multi-state tax documents this year. I'm so thankful he took care of my Ohio school district taxes. They're a pain in the butt, and have been known to haunt people several years down the road. First year I've gone outside of TurboTax. I swore I was going to have to pay the IRS this year for my 2019 shenanigans, instead he got me a refund. I simulated my return on TurboTax, and Mike did much better. Recommended.

I was so confused with the new tax form, as simple as it should be it was confusing without the ability to use the EZ form of the past. I had a complicated issue and all I had to do was to explain it to Gabriela and she took care of it so fast and professionally. I am so happy that I can submit my forms. I would suggest that if you have the opportunity to use these services by this tax professional please take it. You will not be disappointed at all. Completely above and beyond.

This year my paperwork was a bit different so I wanted to go to a professional. I've used Gabriela in the past and was satisfied with her service, so she was the first person I thought about. Yet this year was different and I'm disappointed in her service. I'm upset that I've trusted her and wasted my time turning to her for help. I reached out to her a day before July 15 (which is my fault since it's last minute) and I realized that I was supposed to get an additional W2 for another source of income, yet I wasn't aware because I thought that job was exempt. She replied to my emails and she filed an extension for me. After she sent that email, I replied simply asking her how long do I get the extension for - NO REPLY. Three weeks later I received my second W2. I sent her my first W2 again along with my new one - NO REPLY. I'm thinking maybe because of this pandemic she's probably busy so I waited another week to follow up - NO REPLY. I've called and left her a voice message just to see if she can call me back to let me know if she did file for that extension or not, and if she can't file my taxes it's okay just so I know that I can file it elsewhere - yet again NO CALLBACK. At this point I've given up. I don't know what's going on with her and her business but this is unprofessional. I understand we're in a pandemic and everyone is trying their best but she really didn't try anything. If she simply can't do it, be a professional and send a reply. Don't let people wait around for your reply. And now she has all my W2 personal information without doing any service for me. 'Til this day I still haven't got a reply. I finally got my taxes completed in less than a week with Bobby at Empire Tax Service in DTLB - everything was done online and way better communication.

As a small business owner, it pains me to have to do this but it is what it is. Not sure what happened this year but absolutely horrible way to treat a client that has been coming to Gabi for years. Long story short- Multiple deadlines over months... Months!!... missed. She set these dates, not met. Then after tons of emails and having to show up once in person and having to ask over and over again for her to complete her work I was told I could take my business somewhere else since she wouldn't be in the office for another week. Mind you she has all of our past business history in her system already... Like what....
