I had noooo idea what I was looking for, so her getting it on the first try was so impressive. She also helped me find the perfect accessories for the dress, tailored it for me (I’m 5’4 so the dress was dragging before her hemming it lol), & worked with my short turnaround time. 1000/10 experience! “Umberto’s is in the business of creating family, and their family has a LOT of history. My husband now has three suits and a tuxedo from Umberto’s, and he’s as comfortable in them as he is in his cargo pants—which is quite a confidence boost—and makes each memory even more special because he can relax. The suits are lovely, the tailoring exquisite, and the staff are wonderful and knowledgeable. They’ll help you find whatever you’re looking for, and have good suggestions or tips when you’re in need. They were even able to hem a formal gown for me! (Gino, the head tailor, is a truly a maestro! A magician with a needle!) As I’ve said to anyone who will listen; they’re worth EVERY penny.”

“Dead Rockers is probably my favorite punk shop in Southern California. I'm an east sider, but always take the time to come over here to Long Beach to visit this cute spot. They have a fantastic selection of everything from pins, to records, to shirts and leather jackets. The vibe in this store is fabulous and there is literally something for everyone here. Such a treat to have a spot like this that I can come to do in-person shopping. Prices are super reasonable and the staff is very helpful as well!”

“I was visiting on vacation and needed a pair of shoes. Found some Adidas that were comfortable. The owner assured me if I had any issues that he would help. He seemed very nice. I paid cash. 5 months later they are falling apart. Adidas won't warranty without a receipt, and the owner says he can't get me a receipt past 60 days- despite me knowing the exact day and time I was there. Kinda frustrating that I can't get help now that I actually need it. Who keeps a receipt for their shoes?
I gave 4 stars because when I called he at least offered to try to see what he could do if I came back in to the store. Too bad I live in another state. His customer service is certainly better than Adidas! Lesson learned. Take a picture of every receipt!”

“I was at a store nearby and stumbled across Madewell and I'm so glad I did. A friend had mentioned the brand to me before as she knows that company is with sustainability practices are important to me. The staff here were above and beyond! Good customer service is so hard to find these days and increasingly important in an internet shopping driven world. The girls made me feel super welcomed to try on as many clothes as I wanted and I ended up buying a lot of them! I believe I worked with the store manager her name was Airica. She made my shopping experience so enjoyable, made really great recommendations, let me know where I could find alternative colors online, got me alternative colors and sizes to try on, and made me so excited for all of my purchases. “My new favorite store! I could easily spend my whole paycheck in an hr here. Yesterday I purchased a candle with real amethyst crystals in it for added relaxation, let them eat cake hand cream which makes you want to eat your own fingers, a beautiful sun hat, etc. I will be back next week. This store has diverse, one of a kind pieces. I also purchased a bowl made by a local artist from sea glass ? The staff is lovely, the pieces can't be found elsewhere, and I promise there is something for everyone!”
“I went in the store to exchange some pants for my son, they didn't have his size, but the nice young lady Taylor was so helpful. She helped us with the return and ordered the pants to be shipped all the while being very sweet and friendly. It is nice to see there are people out there that still have people skills.”

My family and I came to eat locally. The business was closed, so I took the opportunity to go window shopping, so I thought of private sneakers.
I'm a huge fan of New Balance shoes, low and behold they had multiple on display, even a new style new balance
I have often wondered what lies behind these closed doors. When I say closed I mean locked ! As we went to open the door. Low and behold, Manny unlocks the door! I had to ask why they were locked. Unfortunately, folks can walk in and out without paying. So doors are kept locked.
Personally, I enjoyed my 40-minute shopping experience alone with my family having Manny to ourselves to ask questions regarding New Balance shoes. I may have never bought one pair, let alone two pairs, without his personal assistance.
I seen these very new new balance shoes, half open grey shoes on the shelf. Manny mentioned these were their newest in store. He brought me 3 different pairs until I had the perfect fit. I'm taking them @ $150.00
Manny did the same for my mother in law. She was a bit more challenging in shoe. You see, she is petite with the smallest foot I've ever known for an adult. Manny brought several different new balance shoes. He finally brought out a 4 1/2 new balance 9060 in dark blue shoe (kids) @ $110.00. Add those to my order as well.
Why I like new balance shoes they come Wide, I have a big wide foot. The stability, balance, and shock absorption. Overall, quality shoes are out the door.
Overall experience with Manny and Johnny 5 stars, Atmosphere was poppin' when I was not taking photos I was dancing. The beats were great. 5 stars
