I had a personal styling appointment here with Airica and it was one of the best shopping experiences I have ever had! I had an idea of some things I was looking for and Airica not only delivered on these but also suggested other items that I ended up loving as well, which was amazing because I would never have chosen them off the rack for myself. Airica was so attentive and made the entire experience wonderful. I would definitely recommend stopping by just to see the great products Madewell has or scheduling an appointment beforehand for a more personal experience.

I was at a store nearby and stumbled across Madewell and I'm so glad I did. A friend had mentioned the brand to me before as she knows that company is with sustainability practices are important to me. The staff here were above and beyond! Good customer service is so hard to find these days and increasingly important in an internet shopping driven world. The girls made me feel super welcomed to try on as many clothes as I wanted and I ended up buying a lot of them! I believe I worked with the store manager her name was Airica. She made my shopping experience so enjoyable, made really great recommendations, let me know where I could find alternative colors online, got me alternative colors and sizes to try on, and made me so excited for all of my purchases. Highly recommend coming in store for this shopping experience!

The staff at this location are very lovely and very thorough in many ways. Very nice shopping experience. Nice discounts and the materials are higher quality compositions than other brands such as A&F, but similar composition to equally priced items such as those you will find at Everlane.

I haven't had customer service this excellent in a retail store in years! Airica was so helpful and went above and beyond to find a pair of new balances that were sold out in my size online, in store. I didn't even ask! She offered and was able to find them. She is so kind and helpful.

Brianna(the manager of this store) is EXCEPTIONAL. She personally went out of her way to call multiple stores for me to find a vest that I liked but didn't have my size. She got my info and called me back when she found the store so I could come back and place the order. She even got me expedited shipping. She was absolutely the sweetest and so helpful. Super rare to find treatment like this anywhere!! Thank you, Brianna!! :)

Melinda helped me try on lots of jeans and helped me find my perfect fit. She was so patient and knowledgeable. I recommend this store & Melinda if she’s available. She made my experience amazing!

My first time shopping @madewell until April 30 if you take 20 pairs of jeans you'll receive a free pair of jeans. Not only do they sell jeans, it a full line of all types of cute stuff. With the great help from #kaylie #angie I found a great pair of jeans to add to my jean collection. I'll definitely return very soon..

I just stumbled upon this location nearby and I have been a few times. It is smaller than South Coast and makes for a better shopping experience. Erica and Christina are fantastic in helping find items, provide suggestions for outfits, and give feedback on sizing. I have shopped at Madewell for 10+years & still love this brand.

I went this past Saturday evening and the lady helping me out was super nice and helpful. I ended up finding the perfect fit!The reason for the 3 stars is that when she checked me out she had asked if I was a student, I said yes and showed her my student ID (is it for esthetician school) after showing her she had told me "oh it's for academic schooling only" and let me know that she'll let it slide this one time. It rubbed my fiancé and I the wrong way. I actually apologized but I was not aware as this was my first time shopping at Madewell. They make good jeans but I will not be returning due to the employee. Last I checked I am paying a hefty tuition and am still taking "academic" classes for my license. I'll shop online next time.

I love this brand as I've bought their items through Nordstrom and online. This is the only actual store of theirs I've visited. It's a bit of a smaller store. I was able to try on some jeans and get a few accessories displayed at the front. I came in on a Friday afternoon and the store maybe had like 3-4 customers in it. The gal at the fitting room was great and really helpful at helping me find my Jean size. It did kind of take a long time to get checked out, however, because there wasn't anyone at the cash register. I wasn't in a hurry so no biggie. I'd probably return back as I come to the shopping center quite a bit, however I don't see myself coming just to visit the store.

Huge fan of Madewell here - the style is definitely my vibe and the material is great. This store is easy to access and located in the 2nd and PCH plaza with plenty of parking. I hate to say this but I believe this store really lacks customer service. Of the dozens of times I've frequented this location, I've only been welcomed or greeted by sales associates less than a handful of times. Quite honestly, the last few times I walked out feeling like it was a waste of my time to look around, as no one is around to help you with questions you may have. I get staffing is an issue everywhere, but when sales associates walk by you and stare, it's not a good look.
