manager Barbara has TERRIBLE customer service. she was very RUDE and unprofessional. I do not know how she is still employed with the horrible attitude she has.

Logan is the associate that helped me and truly was the most helpful person I have ever had to help me. I had called prior to my arrival and asked if there was someone that could help me rekey the locks I had. He put me on a brief hold and then told me to come in and they would be able to help. Once I arrived, a couple other associates said they didn't have anyone to help me and then suddenly Logan appeared. He said he had done it before and he would help me. He saved the day and made sure to keep his word. He truly gave it his all as the lock was giving him some issues and he didn't give up. He did both locks and was so kind. Often I go in and there is not many that can help me (they always say "it's not their department" and I go on a wild goose chase). Logan truly cares about customers and it shows. He continued to help others while working on my lock and made sure everyone felt seen and heard. Other associates were just walking by, yet Logan stood out as his leadership, his initiative and just pure joy of his job shined so bright! He deserves employee of the month or even year! I truly don't like going into hardware stores as I always feel lost and that no one cares. Not this day! Logan was beyond awesome! I told him he needs a new badge that said "Best Employee Ever!" I think you need to promote this man to a manager position and give him a raise! I never do these reviews often, as no one typically in my experience goes the extra mile... Logan has made me now pick Lowe's every time over Home Depot!! Everyone should be like Logan! Hire more Logan's.

If you want service after the sale, think twice about doing business with Lowe's. Perhaps consider your local city appliance stores instead if you can find a trustworthy one. Lesson learned for me. I have one last appliance to purchase in 2024 and I will not be shopping here.

Be warned... All Lowes returns require the original receipts within 90 days of purchase. Avoid using Lowes for big, complicated or long term projects since any leftover parts are basically worthless by the time you finish. That said, the store won't hesitate to take the leftover parts as donations and sell them a second time for 100% profit. BTW, credit cards and phone numbers are useless in tracking your Lowes' purchases which helps their harsh company policy to deny your returns.

Very large Lowe's... they always have what I'm looking for and their lumber prices are pretty good. Not the best garden selection but still worthy of 5 stars based on everything else.

Service here has been great for the past year (no more outside solicitors inside hunting you down making shopping awkward). This past weekend, we were in need of assistance from staff and after waiting a long while at HD with no help and several pages and a call to the manager we opted to leave and go to Lowe's. Upon arrival it was there kids workshop, which we usually sign our littles for but we forgot to do so this time around. Luckily, the team member working the area had extra for us to take and do at home. They are always so welcoming and super nice to us and our kids. We proceeded to enter the building and Jeremy asked if we had stopped by the kids zone to grab a craft for the kids to which we said yes. We went to find the selection of items we needed and no only did they have the brand we had looked at HD, but they also have better pricing and more options in brands. Allison and James helped us out working out the specifics and checking out. As we perused our way, Jeremy checked in with us which was really nice. Overall 5/5 customer service and selection of what we needed. We also enjoy the abundance of Disney products they carry for decor.

One year ago Lowes at The Long Beach Towne Center was provided tens of thousands of dollars for a new kitchen and laundry room. We paid for the permits needed. We were eventually told by the Lowes selected contractor no permits were required. Lowes refunded the money charged for the permits. We since learned the contractor selected by Lowes likely violated the law as permits were required by the City of Bellflower. The stove top was installed without being sealed. A live wire was capped and put under a cabinet in the laundry room. New electrical outlets were installed without permit. The dishwasher was moved and installed without permit. The 30 inch oven to be re-installed was left out in the rain. We paid for a new one yet to be installed. One photo reflects the condition of the outlets installed under the sink. The other photo reflects the condition under the stove top. Both photos reflect the condition now 5-29-2022 since December 1st 2021. Lowes engaged in profit by fraud. Lowes failed to supervise their selected contractor. Lowes failed to ensure the proper permits were obtained. Lowes allowed their selected contractor to engage in dangerous perhaps illegal activities. The stress created had a negative impact on our health. In 2021 a built in microwave was purchased from and installed by Lowes without a permit. The manufacturer's manual specifically stated a dedicated 20 amp circuit get installed. This did not happen. The Lowes installer daisy chained the electrical connection with other electrical outlets in the kitchen. We discovered this in 2023. This was our experience.

I am not one to leave a negative review typically but the lack of service, concern and training at the Long Beach Bellflower Avenue was astonishing. I have spent thousands with Lowes in the past and the response I got from Customer Service and a Manager was atrocious. This store needs training or new leadership (again), likely both. I have a $500 gift card and they just again raised my credit limit and they have pushed me out the door as a customer. Disgusted and saddened by stupid losses of business...

Our landscaping project has required multiple trips to several home improvement spots.I want to thank the paint department: Roger and Theadry were both extremely helpful.We did not really know what sealer or stain product was best for a wooden fixture we had installed. The contractor had bought a gallon of custom sealer stain but it was not what we wanted. Lowes took it back as a return- I was so surprised!We proceeded to order a different stain - there are smaller tins to mix a sample batch. Theadry mixed up two more sample stains for us. She applied the stains on the pieces of wood we brought with us , but those still did not give us the look we wanted.Roger recommended using a product called Cabot Timber oil instead of simple stain/sealer.It was definitely what we needed. This makes me appreciate that someone has the experience and knowledge to make recommendations to customers - better choices makes a happier outcome. At the end, we did not even have to purchase the small sample tins. We are extremely satisfied with the final results.

I've been generally happy with the service and their selection of products. Their prices seem to be on par with Home Depot and the store is overall clean and organized.

We bought a ring for our front door and new push button and handle for the front door. S H.IRIN was our sales lady and she was extremely knowledgeable on all that we were looking at. Thank you Evan for hiring good employees.

I am writing this review to let everyone out there know, NOT to ever buy any appliances from Lowe's. They do not stand by their warranty at all. They will give you the run around but never give you any satisfaction or back up their products. I have bought all my appliance from them for the last 10 years. After buyer a new washer and dryer...I AM DONE WITH THEM. I have not been able to use my washer since July 1st. 2023. It is now the middle of September. They keep sending out repair services, but no one has any idea how to fix it. The washer trips our GFI switch every time we turn it on. We had all the electric replaced even though it was all brand new after adding on the laundry room and spending a ton of money. But that is what the repair service said needed to be done. Well, after that it still did the same thing. If I can get it to run, it will only work for one load and then it just stops running even with the water still in it. One repair service told us the motor gets hot, so you have to "REST" the washer between loads. Afte 5 attempts to fix this machine, I am still without a washer. Lowe's will not help us because they go by what the repair services says, which is... they still want to work on it to try and fix it. 3 months later. Of course, they want the money to keep coming out and not fix a thing. Save yourself a ton of money and headache and shop some other place but NEVER GO TO LOWE'S.

8/27/23 Wow! Now that's DEEP & W I D E, this washer (LG) is HUGE!Yet I digress, looking for cedar blocks for storage because we're overrun by MOTHS. Went in & was disappointed, ALL OUT. Onto Home Depot!

This is the worst home improvement store EVER. The employees are completely ignorant and rude. NO ONE EVER ANSWERS THE PHONE! Management has set up the store to maximize inefficiently. I was on hold with someone named Ruby because I was afraid to hang up and not be able to reach anybody at the store since they don't answer their phones. Ruby clearly thought she was gonna blow me off by keeping me on hold for an hour and a half. After an hour and a half she came back on and seemed surprised I was still there. Most days I couldn't hold on the phone for 90 minutes but this time I could. Rosie is the rudest most incompetent person at the store and that is really saying something.They shipped the wrong carpet and when confronted by their incompetence, they make sure to take as long as possible for the second order to come in. When the order finally does come in they don't call you you have to call them our by hour every day to find out if your carpeting has arrived. Even then the corporate office says exactly the opposite of the store. Corporate says the carpet has arrived the store says it hasn't. I spoke 210 different people who all gave conflicting advice. And if you inquired about some thing they said well who told you that? After several tries the correct carpet with the correct color and size, The customer has to wait an additional two weeks for their "installers" to get over to your house and do their job. I would never shop at this store again even for one flower let alone hardware items and home furnishings. Absolutely the worst store possible. Do not shop here. Not one employee did a single thing they promised including calling us a few days ahead of ahead to let us know the status of corrected order.
