Felt like a Whole White Girl today :) Located in a boisterous and bustling shopping center is a mini oasis that just so happens to work on hands and feet. I came in for my quarterly pedicure (and after this, might be monthly) and I was blown away by the cleanliness, ambiance, & friendliness of all the workers I engaged with. I love theses added touches: - Soft music - ASMR looped videos on the TV screens - Complimentary WiFi, candy, and lotion - Green Pillow for your resting arms My actual pedicure was given by the lovely Stella, who was quick, efficient, and effective! I love the hot stone and lotion massage! Lastly, the price: $30 for card, $27 with cash. Yelppie Tips: - Tesla Supercharger shares the same parking lot - Discount for CASH payment

I've been coming here for about a year and a half because of the ambience, the staff and the professionalism of the owners. They've had some turnover, but I generally call and can get an appointment. I'm writing this review based on my last few experiences, where I just noticed considerable unconscious bias. In this particular case, I called for an appointment for builder gel and a pedicure. When I got there, I was told to wait a few minutes. Two people that came after me one with an appointment and one without one were accommodated while I waited. I asked the new receptionist why and told her I needed her to advocate for me because of my time limit and it was 40 minutes after my appointment. Even though I've been coming for so long clearly they don't consider me a regular and haven't bothered to learn my name. When I go to the owner and her daughter recognize me but the other staff members don't. That's said, I ended up getting just plain gel on my nails because didn't have time for my full service. Three days later they began chipping. The services I usually get are about $115 and I always tip well. It's pretty frustrating but less than a week after my nails are done I have to go and find another salon and have this redone. But more importantly, it's not the first time this is happened and candidly I used names, pointed out specifics and was kind but to no avail. Super sad I'll have to find another salon.

I was a customer here for over 2 years. Never quite felt welcome as they are not super friendly however my technician Cindy did a fairly decent job therefore I stuck with her. Unfortunately although she did a good job most of the time she never had a friendly demeanor and the time spent there always lacked a connection. Recently I had to bring up to her attention that one of the nails she did was not acceptable. I had a broken nail and she placed a tip that was not put on correctly causing the nail to stick up looking completely different then the others. She ignored me when I brought it up. When she was finished I told her again that it was not acceptable to me and she got very upset and told me I'm going to change it but next time you see someone else. Basically she fired me for bringing something up to her attention. Very disrespectful and no customer service whatsoever. It was obvious the tip was not put on right. I left the shop upset and left the owner a message to call me. She called immediately and didn't have much to say at all other then I'm sorry and I will have to talk to her. Didn't offer any other resolution. After years of spending my money there I had to redo that nail which cost me additional time & money along with having to find another shop because an unprofessional employee doesn't know the meaning of servicing the client. It's up to the leader to set the tone and and it's obvious that the poor attitude is accepted. Take your money somewhere you are appreciated and respected.

This place is awesome! Totally found it by accident when I was charging my car and wandering around. Prices seemed reasonable so I set up an appointment after checking Yelp with Cindy for a gel fill. I travel full time and was way overdue. They offered a pedicure menu and I happily signed up for the longest foot massage one. SO HAPPY I did. My nails look beautiful and I will absolutely go back whenever I'm in Long Beach!

I really love coming here. Everyone is always so sweet. Tracy did such a great job on my nails, and Lily gave me an amazing pedicure with a really nice massage that almost put me to sleep haha Their pricing is great too!

Really enjoyed my first pedicure here. I selected the Luxury pedicure and it was one of the best. Paid for my services, tipped $10 in cash and left. Saw the charge come through on my card today with a 15.00 additional amount added. I called the shop to find out what that additional amount was, and was told that's the gel fee. Daaaaang. $65.00 total without a tip for a pedicure. That's a lot. Just make it known when I'm selecting services. Let me know that there's an additional charge for gel so I'm not surprised. That's it. And, yes, next time I'll take a print out of my receipt.

Love love love Cindy for gel manicure or gel builder manicure; I trust her recommendations! Olivia is great with the pedicures! She m's funny and very friendly! Adequate parking, lots of colors and options, very nice and clean place!

Would not recommend! The WORST nail lady ever. Rude and did a manicure before a gel nail polish. Didn't push my cuticles back and when I asked for them to please clean up more and push cuticles back before painting, she said she already did them. I watched and felt and have eyes - she 100% did not. Then said she wouldn't do my nails if I wanted my cuticles done more? I'm paying for this. Was the strangest nail experience I've ever had. Have to go somewhere else to finish them. Very rude and demanding lady, telling me it's good when it clearly wasn't. Her not doing the job right cost me extra money to have to go another shop finish manicure and paint them. The ladies name is Lindsey who did my hands. Horrible and rude as can be.

1. They said yes to a design they didn't know how to do and painted all my nails a base color despite not knowing how to do it. I wish they would have just tried with one finger if that was the case.2. When the above happened and I told them what color I wanted instead, they did the wrong color.3. Pedicure person was rough with toes.4. Water too cold.5. Rude staff6. Didn't make any closing statement when the pedicure was done and looked at me rudely when I asked if it was. Didn't help me roll pants down, put shoes back on or anything.Pros:The place is clean.The products are high quality.Good shopping complexPrices good

Visited Blue Nails Lounge Salon for a mani & pedi and had a fantastic experience. The salon ambiance was soothing, and the staff was friendly. Tina demonstrated great attention to detail, and the selection of nail colors was impressive. My manicure lasted long, and I left feeling pampered. Highly recommend Blue Nails Lounge for a relaxing nail care session!

It saddens me to leave this review but I can't recommend this shop for dip manicures. Despite having good gel manicures here before (which is why the 2 stars vs 1)This is the second awful dip manicure I've had here. It was very thick, uneven, messy and this is after me mentioning it in the shop and giving them an opportunity to correct it. These photos are after they attempted cleanup on the dip that was all over my skin around the nail, and me attempting to scrape the polish from under my finger nails. My pedicure also scraped off and smudged despite wearing sandals for 3 hours before putting on socks.

I got Gel-X about two weeks ago done by Jackie, and it's safe to say I am very impressed. Not only have they lasted this long (I workout daily with weights, and use my hands a lot manually at work), but the process of getting them done was wonderful as well. My nails tend to be shorter and more sensitive, so the process of going in to get them done tends to be daunting. Not only did Jackie make sure I was comfortable and there was no pain, I felt there was a great line of communication if something was starting to even feel a slight pinch. I will definitely be going back soon to get a fill, and very much recommend others do the same.
