The workers are very kind and it’s a great discount store for everyday stuff like extension cords, tools, pet food, school supplies, kitchen appliances, detergent, soap, etc. and even some groceries like cheese, eggs, chorizo, and tortillas.

Why the hell does this place sell beta fish?? The fish are in tiny cups by the entrance. They all look sickly and are obviously uncared for. Tiny fish carrier you would get when you win a fish at the fair is the only "tank" they sell. Horrible to keep fish in these conditions and environment. Fish should only be sold in qualifying pet stores. This is cruel and a bad look for this place.

I gave them several chances. I have patronized this store weekly for little items here and there. I live only a few buildings down, but any time I buy around 10+ items or so, I get home and discover that I have been either double charged for items, or they have charged me for items that never made it into my bag only to find them missing when I unload my groceries I purchased there. If it only happened once or twice, I would think it's an honest mistake, but when I bring it to their attention they always shift the blame saying I must have set the items down or someone else must have taken it or an excuse of some kind. They never own their "mistakes". Somehow being charged extra a dollar here or a few dollars there for merchandise I didn't receive, has become a regular pattern of how they have done business in the two years I've lived in this neighborhood any time I've purchased multiple items beyond a few items I can easily track. I have walked back to the store several times to see if I left a bag on the counter giving them the benefit of the doubt, however, I will never patron the store again after this last visit and how I was treated. I'm self employed in a career that requires me to look pulled together (beauty industry), perhaps they assume I make a lot of money, so what's a few bucks here and there, but I don't even make minimum wage. I'm tired of repeatedly being charged for items I didn't receive. I'm never going back. I will just walk further to other neighborhood stores who not shady.

This Place Is My Go To!! (And i mean Daily M-F) not only is it hella close to my work, like hella hella close!! But the people that work their are pretty darn chill!! Always polite to me greeting me when i walk in and wishing me a good day when im walking out!! They have a bit of everything that we all need even stuff you didn't know you needed till u find yourself walking out with a few bags full and thinking (did i really need all this?!) (raises hand and covers face<~~yup thats me) they have tobacco to birthday banners and even rodent traps haha...hopefully your not needing any of those but hey they do have them...im always a happy customer whenever i go to this store, I've even had to wait in line but it moved very fast and it didn't seem like forever..no as for the transient's outside of the store well ive seen (if im not mistaken) but the owner isn't at all shy on asking them to leave and if they get rowdy he refuses to serve them and again asks then to leave! That kind of comes with the area (board and cares, and convalescent homes fairly close by) but thats for another review!! Overall this place is great for me specially when im in need of a snack because i left my lunch at home haha (one to many times) but check this place out you might just be surprised.

As for myself and neighbors, we absolutely love this place, not only because it's a nice healthy walk for us, quickly from down Ocean Blvd.But, also, because the variety of items are nicely priced. ???And, the store staff are very kind and friendly (professionally).Always recommended to all my family and friends.
