Imagine all positive adjectives you’d use to describe the best customer service experience you had as someone who’s completely new to college life. Great!— now imagine the OPPOSITE. That’s exactly what you’d get here at the LBCC LAC library. I asked for help consistently here at the bookstore and was met with a bunch of “I’m not too sure” or “I don’t know, try asking someone else”. No one seems to know how to do their job around here. Glad the tuition is ‘free’ I guess, because I definitely would’ve transferred immediately to Compton College, which is saying something.

I don't understand why no one ever answers I call different hours throughout the day from 8am till the evening I just want my dam book for spring semester!!! ? my last college was on point with answering the phones wasn't expecting this from long beach.

Not a fan of the hours, I’ve struggled to get over in time to get class materials. The store should open and close later to allow people who take night classes to succeed in their studies.

I had a positive in-person experience within the bookstore, however they do not answer the phone, the posted hours are incorrect, and they never have what you need in stock. They also never emailed me when a course packet i needed came back in stock, hence me calling the store, to which i received no answer. They supposedly close at 5 and yet i’m calling at 1:40pm and no response. Why???

Never buy or rent books from the campus store. Try Amazon, thriftbooks, anything but the bookstore is much cheaper and more professional with better return policies and prices. I beg you, don’t do it!
