I am part of a group of professionals looking for an ethical accountant, this is how GB was referred to me. After one good year, I experienced was two years of problematic taxes thereafter. GB agreed to do taxes and did not file them for 2021 an 2022. Even with attempts to get to the bottom of how, and why it happened, GB and his team did not take responsibility. GB was more than happy for me to quit as a client. I do not know any client that would continue when there is urgency of solving a problem and the other party is unaffected by the seriousness of the issue. Look at other social platforms for review of this organization as they have a pattern of failing their customers and they just move from city to city and continue to do business unethically.Update Jan 8, 2024 at 5:27PMGB finally answers me with a "thank you" after I discharged him from services. GB was asking to get paid for services via venmo or Zelle, when taxes for 2021 and 2022 was not filed. See yelp review of this business as there were emails and text asking for status, no response from GB. GB would claim I ran out on a bill but that's not the reason. I have been chasing GB for an answer regarding my tax issues since April 2023 after a tax filing from October 2022. Even today, I could not get a definite answer from him. I needed solutions for my tax issues that GB left me high and dry. I moved on. If not for these reviews, the unsuspecting public would never know GB and his group has this kind of unethical, unprofessional way of doing business.Update 1/25/2024GB told me my corporation he helped me form - was an S corp. I found out two weeks ago, my corporation -that is now 1yr old - never was classified under S. My new accountant has now taken the steps to correct the issue that was caused by GB's neglect. I could get upset but there is no point now.

Good:GB and his team know the tax space well When I was able to get some time with them, they had great insights Bad:The most stressful tax submittal to date, with the team asking for signatures the evening of the deadline Many rescheduled or delayed calls Many unanswered emails Several commitments made and not kept I prepaid for the year but only used their services for six months, when I asked how we could true up the account, they were nowhere to be found I was looking for an accounting firm I could grow with, and one I could provide referrals to, but the lack of organization and professionalism made it quickly apparent that this organization was not a good fit.

As a small business owner, I highly recommend Life on Thrive! GB and his fabulous team have always been available to me when I had questions and has resolved a small problem, I had to clear up with the IRS I had always been intimidated to make more money because I was scared! I didn't know what I didn't know however ONE meeting with GB and everything changed he guided and educated and provided so much information that now it has given me peace of mind so that I can focus on the important things like running my business! We've been working with Life on Thrive for 3 years now, we came to them in a rush at the end of the 2018 tax season when our former tax preparer stopped responding. Didn't plan on it but I'm so grateful that they disappeared on us because this last minute decision has been one of the best ones we've made!
