It's the time of year when I feel like I've stepped back into 1950 because the holiday card from LBSFCU arrives. Why you ask? It's because every year without fail it is addressed solely to my husband in spite of the fact that we are equal account and mortgage holders. When we took out our mortgage loan, the loan officer outright said they were putting my husbands name first because he is the man. Like wtf. We're talking about a form letter Christmas card made by a machine here. It would take very little effort to put the names of both account holders on it. And yet every year LBSFCU takes it as an opportunity to let me know that my husband is the valued customer and not me. Other than this issue which pisses me off once a year and then I forget about it? The bank is annoying. It's like banking in 1980. They need to modernize. They are slow and cumbersome with long lines. And sexist af apparently.

They earned my future business and respect by making a wrong right. They made an exception for me when I was given misinformation by someone on the the phone, they did not have to do anything for me, as most places wouldn't have. I recommend them to any and everyone.

Member for four years.Whenever I had any issues regarding this bank, be it a technical, financial, or grumpy teller related affair, it was always rectified in a timely and effective manner.This is a great bank, and while mistakes do happen, patience is often rewarded with great service. ??

Been a customer for years. Recently went to the Atlantic Ave branch, it was horrible.The bank teller was super rushed, and unpleasant. The customer service is definitely lacking. They make it hard for you to get your own money.

I have banked with the credit for over 20 years. They have handled everything fairly satisfactory. But they are not diligent with their ACH tranactions. I never get my direct deposit before holidays no matter how early payroll is sent. 20 plus years of the same nonsense.

On 6/17/2023 I went to the ATM at this location where I proceeded to deposit money into the ATM and it malfunctioned and did not give me credit for my deposit or card back. I told one of the financial service reps and she said ' sorry to hear that " and locked the door and walked to the parking and hung out. On 6/20/2023 I went to my credit union to report the issue and put in a claim and still to date they have not received a response from LBS Financial. The same I spoke with a service rep at her desk about the issue and before I could finish she said " I can't do anything for you here , you need to go to your bank" not even knowing I spoke with my credit union and the claim was faxed over that day. Still to date my credit union has no response from LBS Financial Credit Union. As a former employer of a banking institution servicing ATM's does not take 30 days. BEWARE of this location and your money transactions here

My experience with the LBSFCU has been great over the past 15 years . Any inaccuracies or questions I have are always dealt with accurately and promptly.

Whoa where to beginI never had a bank give me soo much grief or so much pushback in my lifeIm from a different credit union and I deposit money here all the time on this day my card amd money got stuck in the ATM and this Manager Named Patty Mendiola was such a Unhelpful person if you know what i mean, me being the card holder she was holding my debit card and my money literally hostage saying my credit union had to fax over a affidavit saying im the sole owner of the account and card what kind of monkey business is this !!! I was told i had too wait until the ATM was balanced at 3 and she had the audacity too start laughing in my face while i was on the phone with her and my credit union I’m glad she found all this funny because it wasn’t her money or debit card clearly showed no empathy or options what so ever how this short little anger lady got in this position by showing no remorse, lack of empathy is beyond me she definitely needs a downgrade in her position ASAP!! I can see why this is a 1 1/2 star location such a disappointment disgraced experience. NEVER AGAIN

The bank it's self is pretty good let me just say that. However my experience at this branch was not the best. I came back to reopen my account and was met with a passive aggressive attitude. It took about 2 hours just to reopen an account because I had inquiries from other banks. I even had the teller me "this is some experience oh wow" while opening my account. In addition the lack of knowledge was absurd. Kinda iffy about this branch now. Go to Cerritos if you can!
