Khmer Bridal is the go-to spot for traditional Cambodian party/wedding attire — they have everything for kids, women, and men from super fancy royal traditional style to fusion looks.
I’m getting married in Phuket, Thailand, and very last minute I decided to wear a traditional outfit for our rehearsal dinner the day before to pay homage to my Khmer / Thai background. After wearing Khmer clothes to the temple as a kid, and knowing how tight and form fitting the clothes are, I didn’t think I wanted to wear a traditional outfit, but here we are, 2 days before we leave!
Kaylene and her family, who have owned Khmer Bridal for 24 years, were great with setting an appointment and having me come in to take my measurements. From exploring different fabrics, to putting together the outfit from head to toe with jewelry, belt, and hair clips. I had an excellent experience. She even taught me how to assemble the outfit if I wanted it to be more form fitted or if I had eaten too much that night haha ?
She made a few alterations and told me to come back in an hour. We tried on the dress again. It looked perfect!
I am so excited to rock this dress and I’m so thankful to Kaylene for her attentiveness!

All the appointments for dress fitting and stuff leading up to the was a poor experience, like they would forget we would have an appointment or have overlapping appointments. Poor communication overall, but on the wedding day they did pull through and executed I'll give them that. Made planning our wedding harder than it should have been.

Went to Khmer Bridal today to get my photoshoot outfit and wedding outfits . There were so many gorgeous selections to choose from I was having a hard time deciding on what I wanted and ended up choosing a beautiful burgundy set for my photoshoot . I also decided to get a gold sequined wrap with white gold detailed skirt for my reception. We will be returning next month to pick out the second outfit for the reception because she's going to Cambodia to get more fabric .

My girlfriend went and took a photo today and make up artist and photographer isn't very unprofessional! Use iPhone 14 for taking pictures, no lighting and no back drop. Over charging for an unprofessional photo. They said theyre giving you usb photo but they sent photo air drop. Please if you want a better quality photo go somewhere else!

HelloMy girlfriend went and took a photo shoot at this place today, wasn't professional. Make up and photographer suck. Doesn't have backdrop and lightening, use his iPhone 14 to take pictures because he said his camera isn't better than his iPhone.

Wanted to rent some dresses for a wedding shoot and the shop was not helpful or understanding of our postponement situation due to covid. Spent more money than our deposit to other vendors, trying to add videographer even though we never agreed or talked about it, and then demanded more money for no services completed. Very unprofessional and very unhappy about the way this shop does business.

This place is not good. Called on the phone to ask how much they said 75-125 .When I got there they changed the price and said 150. Then they wouldn't let me try on the outfit to see how it looks on me. I'm not gonna rent it and not know how it looks. They said there was a "service fee" to try it on.

I'm an out of towner from Dallas, and came to this shop on impulse before having to fly back home that evening. This place is a joke and so is the owner Kaylene. She came off really sweet and helpful, but everything about the staff, the service, the place, and the price seemed very sketch to me. My brother in law happens to know her, and actually brought me to her store. I bought a blouse, skirt piece and a sash from her for $175. But of course, they have to be tailored to fit my body. (And btw she only takes cash!) She never gave me a receipt. (Red flag!) I assumed since she knows my brother in law, that it wasn't necessary.. Anyway, she asked me when I needed it by, I told her I wasn't in a rush and explained to her that I have to fly back home at 7pm. She said she can get it done in two hours, and would call me to let me know when it's ready to be picked up. I thought "ok, even better!" Fast forward.. She never called. I've made many attempts to call the store, but to no avail. Days later, my sister went to pick it up for me. The staff was having a hard time locating the items and was even interrogating my sister about a receipt which was never given. After ten minutes, they were unable to find it. My sister had to help them rummaged through garbage (not literally! But through piles of disorganized, mountains of clothes. She was dumpster diving to find them..) She then notices the sash was not included and asked one of the ladies. They continued to give her a hard time. Kaylene was not available to vouch for her because she "conveniently" was going out of the country. Aka running off with her client's money... Anyway, my sister brought the outfits to me when she visited Dallas, and to my dismay, THEY WERE NOT AT ALL ALTERED! They weren't even touched. The blouse was very frayed and didn't have a zipper in the back, the skirt was NOT creased properly, and the buttons to the skirt was not even aligned to each other to have a proper fold to it. By this time I was already livid. So I sent her a text and complained. She apologized and gave me some options: to bring it back so she can redo the alterations, or I can exchange it for a new one. She even added that she brought back brand new clothes from Cambodia, which she probably scammed from them too. Anyway, while her options were great, there was one problem that I find myself having to reiterate. I do not live in California where i can just pop into her store and have her take my measurements over again!. We were actively texting back and forth, but the moment I mentioned a full refund, her keyboard stopped working.. She wasn't receptive towards my demands and had zero regards to the inconvenience this has caused me. A non local customer! Anyhow, I told her I was sending the clothes back with my sister because I did not want them in my possession, and she will stop by her store when she gets back to Cali. She must've had cameras surrounding her shop or something because the days my sister would stop in, they are "conveniently closed"! It has been since June, and she hasn't tried to follow up with me or find a medium ground to resolve this issue. If my horrible experience has taught me anything, is to warn others about doing business with these scammers..

They have all the items you need for a Cambodian wedding. I would say if you mind traditional ways of setting things up and not getting a timeline or how things work, I would thread lightly. Not worth the stress and miscommunication from this store if they are helping you set up a Cambodian ceremony and reception. They can pull thru last minute but that's towards the end of the night. Not recommended for younger adults getting married. Also keep a copy of your contracts and sizes, they tend to get lost.

When you walk in your eyes will be opened up by the beauty. Lots is traditional Khmer clothing and the owner knows her stuff.
