Been using hrblock for a couple of years now. So I recommended my friend to Leanne Var. Big mistake‼️‼️ She told my “friend” my personal informations because she’s a “friend” of mine. I get it that she would want to make conversation with a new customer but not under my expense. Just saying, that was a breach of contract. And would never recommend her again to anybody. I hope HRblock would do something about it.

I used to work for H&R Block in Sacramento and moved to Long Beach. My neighbor referred me to EA at H&R Block Bixby Knolls to do my tax return. I came at my appointment and EA started my tax return for 2021 and I have 1099 Misc with court settlement amount and he did not know how to report. I done tax returns for 6 years and told him how but he said if you know how to do why do it yourself. he finished my return and told to mail it instead transfer electronically. I asked why he said because of 1099Misc. I mailed it. He called me an a week and asked me to come to do amended return because he did mistake so I came and he fixed his mistake which I pointed him from beginning but he told me that he knows better than me because he is a man and I was just Ukrainian woman.

I called to figure out where my tax return was because my app is telling me my state has yet to be e filed and had to be on hold twice just to be asked "who are you" by some ghetto dude named John acting like a pizza boy who's sick of his job.If I was yall I would go to a nicer location, my tax specialist before was more pleasant and actually got work done. These guys are lazy and have horrible attitudes. I'm entitled to asking why my return has yet to be sent when they took there money already. If I could give the 0 stars it still would be too high.

The front desk lady gave me a huge attitude because i was a walk-in, but in the front it clearly says "WALK-INS WELCOME." Another person came in after me... i mean an hour after and she got helped before me. I ended up missing an important document so i had to leave and i swear this lady smirked because things didn’t t work out for me. Normally I wouldn't bother with such people but this bothered me. She needs to work on her customer service. I will not be returning to this location until this lady is out of there.
