Very impressed by the customer service here. New to Cali from Florida. I have a 2023 Tucson ready for its first oil change. Asked them if they would honor my maintenance plan from back home, they did. Beyond that, Enrique did an amazing job handling my case. He notified me that they found a nail in my tire and took care of it quickly. He did everything professionally and with a smile. I would highly recommend coming to this dealership for servicing your car. Thank you Enrique and Harbor Hyundai!

They are very disorganized and unprofessional!!!It's been over 3 months and I have been driving a car that is not even registered to my name, they have not completed my DMV paper work untill I called them. They don't answer your questions and all they do just passing your call to different person, even the sales person "Miguel" called and told me bunch of lies and now not even him is taking any responsibility for their mistakes.I don't recommend nor advise any one make business with Harbor Hyundai dealership.Very bad business practice and customer service, if I dad an option I would have give the 0 rating....

The worst customer service experience from Rodrigo! Had an appointment today @730am rude as service employee wouldn't even honor my appointment. Booked appointment last week for a recall, got multiple reminder emails during the week and when I get there no appointment found?? This place is a joke, full of unprofessional employees and no empathy.

Kevin Marroquin and the team at Harbor Hyundai revived my spirit from the dead!I went to a Hyudai dealership (will exclude the name) where I left discouraged. The quotes for monthly payments were ASTRONOMICAALY high and was met with an incredibly pushy salesman. I was really about to just hold off on getting a new car another year. Then I met Kevin. I couldn't meet in person due to my work schedule, so Kevin worked with me over the phone for DAYS, exchanging pictures and attending to my dozens of questions, easing my concerns and educating thoroughly on the car, financing and options. With the help of his manager Juan, we were able to strike a deal over the phone. After a 20 minute drive to the dealership, a nice test drive and a quick but thorough meeting with their Finance Manager Gianni, I had my lease on a 2024 Ioniq 6 in about an hour and a half flat. This team was transparent, educational, helpful and fast!I went from losing hope to having tears of happiness. I'd recommend Harbor Hyundai to anyone looking for a new car, just make sure you start with Kevin. That guy was an all-star salesman! A man of the people!

I always enjoy coming to Harbor Hyundai. The staff is amazing they go above and beyond to ensure my car is taken care and I have a full understanding of what needs to be completed. This last experience Walden Zittle helped me secure a brand new 2023 with a payment rate of what o wanted. Walden’s customer service was impeccable, he listened to what I wanted and didn’t want, had genuine responses to my questions/concerns, just overall super helpful !

Amazing dealership and sales Team! Kevin in sales is very professional and a down to earth honest person. I was very impressed with the entire staff on my purchase of a new Santa Cruz. Zero pressure! The communication was top notch from the sales manager to Kevin the salesman as well as the finance office. I myself have worked for Harley Davidson for 25 years and being in the industry I was very impressed from the moment I was greeted by Kevin to the final purchase ! Thanks again staff for the professionalism and attention to detail.

The worst experience with Service Manager Miguel Reynoso. Brought my car in for an oil change 12/2022 a few days later my car stopped on me. AAA stated my oil changed was overfilled and possibly caused another issue. Towed my car back to Harbor Hyundai where it was last serviced. They completed a diagnostic and stated I needed to replace the sending units because my car was not reading the correct gas amount, instead it would read a quarter tank of gas but would actually be on empty. Payed $1,252.00 for the sending units to be replaced. Kept my car on full or never allowed it to reach half a tank because I was traumatized from the last time it stopped on me while driving although it was "fixed". A few months later the car stopped on me in the middle of a highway for the same reason. Police officer had to come out stop reroute traffic and safely move my car to the ramp for AAA to come and assist. Took my car back to Harbor Hyundai, they checked my car and stated everything was good. Stated my only option was to leave the car here for several weeks to months so they can figure out the problem, and place me on the waiting list for a loaner car. A few months later, the car stopped on me again this time in worst conditions, gas tank was reading at half. AAA put gas in the car, but it would not start back. Took my car to a certified mechanic in which they were able to diagnose my car in one day and stated Harbor Hyundai installed sending unit incorrectly and only replaced one out two sending units. Contacted Harbor Hyundai service representative that was assisting me through this process and informed them about the issue and asked to schedule an appointment to discuss a refund. A few minutes later Service Operation Manager contacted me upset and stated "We can not do anything for your car because it's not here. You have to bring it here to the dealership if you want us to fix it" as if my car was not in & out the dealership for several months. I informed the Miguel Reynoso I was at work and requested for an appointment to discuss the everything in person with verifications. Miguel Reynoso attempted to bully me over the phone demanding I tell him what the other mechanic found. I told him I no longer felt comfortable talking to him and requested to speak to someone else to resolve the problem. He stated he was the highest I can speak too and there was no one else. I scheduled an in person meeting the following business day. I also brought a male witness. Provided all verification that the paid service was incomplete and not installed properly. Miguel began focusing on dates my car was brought in instead of the error that was made (not knowing I've been communicating with the Service Rep since the incident occurred and following up). My witness redirected the conversation back to the error Harbor Hyundai made. The last 10 mins of the meeting Miguel Reynoso admitted to error and stated "I would rather wash my hands of this and refund you but we can no longer help you at all after we reimburse you". No apology, no remorse that my life was placed in danger three times, the additional towing fees, and paying for another diagnostic from a certified mechanic after their mistake. My experience was combative, unprofessional, and no apology. Do not understand how Service Operation Manager Miguel Reynoso provided the worst customer service experience than the regular Service Rep. Unprofessional and took everything personal. Also Miguel Reynoso had a completely different attitude over the phone than in person when I had a male figure by my side, suddenly he was careful with his words. Not to mention I sent Miguel Reynoso several emails regarding my vehicle and he did not respond to any of my emails. During our meeting when I asked if he received my emails his response was "yes, I just received it this morning" when emails was sent out a couple of days before our meeting and after.

I have been to multiple Hyundai dealerships like WIN in Carson and South Bay in Torrance, and everytime I went there I would have a horrible experience with the people that worked in Service. Harbor Hyundai is the only dealership I actually like. Quick service with quality and a friendly staff like Jose Martinez that actually knows Customer Service.

I did a lot of research when looking for which car and where to purchase and glad that all the stellar reviews for Harbor Hyundai were true. Alfredo Martinez was in the middle of helping another customer but they were so busy he decided to balance perfectly with me as well. Very knowledgeable about the car we were purchasing, the Ioniq 5, and even though I researched the deals available, they were able to offer me something even better. Really a very smooth process and did work with me on making the deal happen. They weren't pushy about any extra features, simply just mentioned and explaining them but not aggressive. A simple no and they didn't bring up the option again, which I appreciated. If you are considering a new Hyundai this is the place to go. Even the one month complementary service department follow up was super smooth and friendly.

Most time you as car buyers have to go through very difficult time with the dealers and financial department. We all know that. But I had a different experience at Harbor Hyundai.Communication via text work perfectly in terms of negotiating and pressure. My man, David Davila, should be highlighted. Find him and he will never let you down. So kind, diligent, empathetic, professional, an so on.Another great side of Harbor Hyundai is the financial department. No pressure, no hard words. Just simple and comfort. The most time I spent at Harbor Hyundai was to wait for their service on my car ready. The process of signing was surprisingly quick.

I don’t generally post negative reviews, however this was a very expensive purchase for my wife and I. I just want others to be aware of what may result in buying a CPO from a dealership local to them, as well as what happens after the sale is done. We don’t make a lot and we saved a long time to buy a Certified Pre Owned 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe in Cash. We felt confident in researching the model and were excited to find the color and configuration we wanted at harbor Hyundai. The sale for the most part was fine however after it was a nightmare lesson to us. First issue was that they never did the 170+ point inspection and sent us back to San Diego with a gouge in the rear tire. As most people know, you shouldn’t replace one tire under 80% tread, so even though they apologized and paid for a tire, we had to replace all 4 so the treads weren’t so far off. A month later, the fuel pump needed replacement. After two separate trips and failed installation by Our local dealership, they told us they would not do the repairs since they were concerned about getting paid out by corporate. This is an internal matter but us, the consumer, had to take the brunt. This resulted in a number of back and forth calls and emails. Harbor agreed to do the work thankfully, but they had to drive to San Diego and get the car. Leaving is a loaner. The repairs were made and the car was returned. A couple short months later, we noticed some paint bubbling occurring on the hood. Again, another inspection point overlooked. I contacted Harbor Hyundai and they informed me that they are not responsible for paint issues, even though it was part of this 170+ CPO inspection. Additional research showed that Hyundai is in a class action lawsuit for the same issues in Canada, and issued a repair order for 2018’s but not 2019’s. The cost to repaint the hood is $2400. We were confidently insured that if there issues a recall for our year they would let us know and be happy to fix it then. ::insert eye roll::The point of this post is to just make you the consumer aware that these CPOs probably aren’t worth the couple extra thousand dollars. Ours clearly was not inspected, cost us just as much out of pocket as well as weeks of time either without a car, a loaner, or driving to the dealership for work. Plus the headache of constantly having to be on the phone with a supervisor of a supervisor. Even if it is covered on your CPO, you have to argue your way to get it done. The service advisor was a nice guy, but he doesn’t have the pull to get things done and seems to have his hands bound by management or corporate. Being the small guy against the corporate giant, it’s an exhausting uphill battle. Harbor Hyundai had a chance to be an advocate and provide exceptional customer service, but instead took the opposite direction after they got our money. Be careful. Get a second opinion, even if it is a CPO, and look upTo see if your car you want to buy has any class action lawsuits like ours does. Thanks for the expensive headache and lesson Harbor Hyundai.

Exemplary service from the folks at Harbor Hyundai! The salespeople were very friendly and not at all pushy or shady. They were very accommodating to our specific circumstances and helped us with any hiccups. Very fair price for a new car. We went in with the intention of buying used but the deal we got on the new car was too good to pass up. We've been looking for a car for months now. The used and new car market still hasn't quite rebounded to what it was before the pandemic. We live in Orange County and had been to several dealerships in the area, however we weren't seeing any car worth the prices they were selling at and the salespeople were pushy and one even lied about accidents on a competing dealership's car (we did a VIN search before and after to confirm). We found out about this dealership through the Costco Auto Program which has very strict standards. The whole process was very smooth. Harbor Hyundai even contacted me after the sale to ask if I had any problems to contact them and to schedule a complimentary maintenance. I had to call several times with questions and they've been very helpful each time. Excellent service all around, in particular from our salesperson Randy and the team leader Mike. Will recommend to anyone looking to buy new or used and keep them in mind for future purchases. There's a reason they have so many good reviews.

I had the pleasure of working with Rodrigo in the service department today and let me tell you, my experience was nothing short of exceptional. I walked in without an appointment, fully expecting to be turned away or at least to have to wait for hours. But Rodrigo welcomed me as if I had been a long-standing customer. His communication skills are top-notch. Dealing with car repairs can be incredibly stressful, and often the language used can be confusing for those of us who aren't car savvy. Rodrigo took the time to explain everything in terms I could understand, breaking down the necessary repairs and processes so I felt comfortable every step of the way.Rodrigo's approach is genuinely customer-centered. It's clear that he doesn't just want to fix your car; he wants you to feel secure and informed throughout the entire process. I've dealt with many service departments before, and the level of service Rodrigo provided was unparalleled. So if you find yourself needing any sort of car service, do yourself a favor and head straight to Rodrigo in the Hyundai service department. His professionalism, clarity, and overall kindness turned a typically stressful experience into a surprisingly pleasant one.
