Great store. Chill vibe that lets you wander and browse. Interesting selection, particularly small sections featuring local authors and books about Long Beach. Worth a stop.

Lovely store with a fun selection of books, helpful staff and the lovely cat Ruby, sunning herself in the front of the store. An enjoyable shopping experience and I hope to go back!

We drive up from San Diego to visit Gatsby Books, and trusted it would be open until 6pm on Saturday, as the website hours stated. We arrived at 456pm and much to our surprise, they were closed. So disappointed!

A very pleasant small bookstore. Good, eclectic selection, mostly used but some new as well. Nicely organized, with a helpful staff, but not intrusive. Good browsing, I plan on returning. And they have a cat!

To crowded. You feel closed in. Inventory is small.
